A lot of enterprise servers, switches and firewalls do not have USB-C. It's not "old crap". I still lug around a Lenovo to support my network stuff. (Plus Apple sucks at remote desktops, virtual machines, etc.).
Are you saying the Lenovo doesn't have USB-C, or you just use the USB-A it also has? I'm just curious, as I was impressed that the Lenovo notebook I had at work a few years ago had Thunderbolt, so I figured they would be pretty good for having USB-C.
