Well if you don't even know what a S-IPS panel is.... then you probably wouldn't know what to do with a good monitor and you'd be perfectly happy with a Dell (although whatever you make your boss/clients would not be happy with)

If you don't know about something doesn't mean you are not going to take advantage of it. That's like saying... if you don't know what is RAM you won't be able to use it...

The colorimeter is used to accurately calibrate the monitor. Without it, proper calibration is difficult at best. Cheap ones can be had for $100, better ones can go for $300.

Are they still on sale ? However, nice setup. I know, maybe I'm a fanboy but the old ACD are just beautiful.
Sort of....The new 24" Apple Display is only to use with the new MBP... that's what I heard!!!.. not sure
