hahahahaha

i can not believe it... $600 for a CRT 17" monitor? They must be signed by Steve Jobs or something... hahahahahah

$600 + $78 (13%) + $35 shipping =

$713 for an old monitor that sold new for $399.00 almost 2 years ago.

Lesson #1 People:

CRT = TUBE MONITOR
LCD = FLAT PANEL.

man are they going to be disappointed!

:confused:

There was something in the sign up page about how the multiple item lot works in the end when the sale is done. From what I figured, if there are 15 ibooks, 14 people bid 900, 1 guy bids 600, then everyone gets it for $600 since that was the lowest winning bid for the group. Under those circumstances and the way you have to bid in increments of $50, those guys might have gotten some good deals.

Well on that lot, #19, the final selling price was $955, not great. Pretty silly if you ask me. And the prices were all over the place, some selling for $750 (500 model) and another 500 model selling for $950. The auction house is loving this. And did you notice that the disclaimer said all items are refurbished by Apple and come with a 30 warrantee?

auction nonsense

This Dovebid auction thing is silly. Apple should just put them on the damn store page under Special deals.
Why use Dovebad?
13% might be 'normal' but its still a rip-off.

13% just so Doveboy can list them? Nuts.

Where did they get that silly Dovebag name from anyway?

If you have ever been to a real auction, you know how crazy people get - they will bid over retail to stop someone else getting "their" item.
Dovebug.
Humbug.

oh, yeah.....Apple can pay me to use a flower-power imac ANYTIME.
