Next year Apple should just forego any decorations or signage at all in the name of "simplicity" and "nature" and leave us all to wonder what is coming.

People would freak out.

Its funny, the first thing that some people seem to think when reading the tagline "a whole new world..." is AppleTV apps.

While that would certainly be welcome, I'll counter with the "cheap" iPhone announcement.....a whole new world of customers Apple has yet to reach due to high prices of the iPhone in other countries......

Either way, exciting stuff on Monday. Can't wait!

Look at the graphics, looks like an AppleTV puck to me. "A whole new world" for developers? Finally, we're getting 3rd party apps.

I am hoping this is true! I will be very disappointed if there isn't something big planned for AppleTV. Just sayin

For some reason that old Apple excitement is coming back. Maybe because it's been a while since we've seen some really good stuff that wasn't fully leaked to everyone. We will see.

So exciting! Only a new Apple Store opening could be more awesome! Or a lawsuit story. Or a patent troll story. Or a zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

A whole new world!

The lack of leaks must be a result of Tim Cook's doubling down on secrecy, or dumbing down of the product team. I doubt it's the former.

Of course.

But what does the developing world have to do with app developers? It's not like a cheaper iPhone would have different apps.

So if it is an AppleTV thing do I go out and buy 2 more AppleTVs now before things get nutty or do they release a new model with more on board storage?

when to expect the controlled leaks to the media? probably sunday evening or monday morning

just imagine: here the brand new iOS 6.2 LOL!

my magic ball says "maybe maybe not. try again later"

Don't be a buzzkill, man! You can be sour over in that corner, all pouting to yourself while the rest of us get all excited about wondering if they're putting the streamers up over the entry doors or the stage.

Chill, man, it's only about the decorations. MR types are really into their decorations.

You're right.

I'm bad.

YAYYY WWDC DECORATIONS!

I'll be nicer in the future...

Scott Forstall delivered best keynotes after Steve, this will be the most boring WWDC ever.

What do you all watch the keynotes for? To see what new features and products are coming out in the near future, or to judge someone's presentation style?

Tim Cook could be up on stage droning on in one long continuous monotone, and I'd still like it if they reveal something I like.

Also the streamers are going over the stage, people! Streamers are GO!

Not that I necessarily want to go down this path too far, but I do believe that both Tim and Craig's speaking has come a long way since they first started doing it.

If you watch the WWDC video from last year vs. the Lion preview the year before, Craig was much improved. He simply wasn't as nervous or fidgety.

Tim's interviews and such lately have seemed more human and natural to me.

At any rate, can't expect everyone to be a Jobs on stage. It isn't really a natural thing to do for most people.
