Just adding again to this thread...my original delivery date was 10/24 but my wife called earlier and said that my phone was delivered this morning! This weekend will be fun! :)

Oh yeah, just to follow up on my previous post, where fedex said my phone would arrive on the 21st.

The phone actually came yesterday, and I realized that in Apple's shipment notification email it said that the phone delivers by Oct 20th, while on fedex shipping it had said 21st, so I decided to go with that. Anyway, glad we're getting our phones early. :)

I preordered on the 7th. Im still showing back order. i went to the store today where i ordered and they said they cant tell me when I can expect it to arrive..

I hate att.

Fed Ex is #1 in my book

Ordered mine on October 12th.
The status read:
Ships: 1 - 2 Weeks
Delivers Oct 25 - Nov 1 via Standard Shipping

When I checked Fed Ex tracking yesterday (Oct. 20) it said Monday (Oct. 24) delivery before 10:30 am I was thrilled that it was coming a day early . . . .
Then the Fed Ex truck pulled up today (Oct. 21) with my package.
I was shocked :eek: but extremely happy :D

I knew what to expect but this 4S exceeds all of my expectations.
Coming from a 3 GS . . . . I'm happy as a pig in slop ;)

Wow, that's awesome. When did it say that it shipped?

It's shipped! Left today at 8am, Apple indicates I'll receive it Friday Oct 28th where as Fedex Says Wednesday Oct 26th.

Cancelled my order with AT&T this morning and put in an order with Apple. Estimated delivery is Nov 4th-14th and I'm cool with that vs AT&T not being sure when they're getting shipments.

Shipped on October 20th (China's time zone I assume), got it on the 21st just before 10:30 am :)
I hope you get yours early too!

I think it will payoff. I feel bad for those still on back order with AT&T. Lesson learned though, ALWAYS order with Apple.

Just throwing my info into here...I ordered on Monday, October 17th around noon eastern time. My status is "processing order" or something to that effect. Expected delivery is October 28-November 4th. I'm hoping that it might come sometime this week. I wasn't able to preorder because my eligibility wasn't supposed to come up until the end of November. But AT&T was nice enough to move it up for me, after the initial surge was over. Thanks AT&T!

Not so funny, mine is vacationing along with yours. I do think they could have used the weekend to fly it here so I'd see it this morning. nope. :(

Same thing happened withe the ipad 2 orders, the sat at Lantau Island for a few days then the tracking all of a sudden updated once they landed at destination airport.

Mine finally left the dreaded Lantau Island! It should be here tomorrow according to Apple, but Fedex tracking says Tuesday... we'll see...

Ordered 10/18 via Apple.com - Vzw Black 16GB

Still Processing.... :(

Has anyone tried getting more than one at the discount, as it seems like Vzw website still allows ordering at the upgrade price... ?

If someone didn't buy this 4S for me I would have walked into Radio Shack since they seem to have them in stock...
