Ok, so here is the latest from my friend at UPS. She is showing the route to be CGO - ANC - SDF

Scheduled deliveries of 11/3 still on track. And best part is she shows they have departed!

But she just found a flight the is coming straight through. n8628. She said that is not normal, but it is what is showing in the system. ETA is Nov 1 at 8:30am SDF.

Now to go find that flight!
That’s very very strange. There’s nothing that can do CGO-SDF nonstop or pretty much just about anywhere in Asia without a stop.

There’s scheduled flights arriving into SDF on 11/1 from ANC at the following times:
12:32am MD11-5X51
1:06am 763-5X105
1:20am 74X-5X53
That’s it coming from anchorage for 11/1. (Via Flightradar24 app-I will cross check FlightAware and edit if necessary)

Edit:
In addition to the 3 flights I already mentioned, there are another 5 flights due to leave Anchorage for Louisville within 30 minutes to two and a half hours after the 10:40pm National Cargo flight out of Zhengzhou lands in Anchorage at 1:59 Alaska time.

She meant that the National Cargo is coming straight through. Because yeah, 747s cant fly that far. I just got overly excited typing. :O

thanks

trying to understand why some 1:35ers have a departure scan and some don't

at first, I thought it had something to do with requesting a hold for pickup too early

Requesting a hold at this point won't do anything, the product is palletized (or more likely, already packed in sealed air freight containers) when it leaves Foxconn, prelabelled to it's final destination. It won't be broken down until it hits the terminal UPS hub for sort, at which point holds will be applied.

It's actually broken down in Louisville Kentucky then sent out the UPS Distribution Centers (CC) Customer Centers or whatever you wanna call it.

the problem is that some of us requested the hold not at this point, but at a much earlier point, which some users warned against doing

I wanna see if too early a request has anything to do with lack of departure scan

No longer showing an Exception in the UPS app. Scheduled for delivery 11/3 with Hold for Pickup confirmed. If you go to the UPS My Choice page on the full website, it doesn't provide the estimated delivery date, but it no longer says that a delivery change has been requested, it shows that I have selected a CC to pick it up at.

Is there some place in MyChoice that confirms the center I am picking it up at? My exception has gone away, but it doesn't actually say "Hold for pickup at XXXX."

Assuming they ship it through Worldport, something on this scale could have easily been set up to go direct to the end sort. NCR628 is headed to ORD after it clears customs in ANC.
