The last bus out of iPhone City will have to be tomorrow morning USA time / tomorrow night China time to make Friday on time launch day deliveries.

Dave
UPS can do next day service China to US. So the last plane out will be Thursday morning US time, getting to Louisville around midnight for the evening sort and out for distribution that morning.

And I have seen them move faster than that. I watch on of my phones get drop shipped from China in one on a launch.

WEIRD! Keeping checking though in case ATT is wrong.
i wil continue to check religiously.
Um...I would wonder that too. Since this is for the NEXT why would ATT be part of the shipping if it is coming from Apple?
idk this is the first time ive pre ordered an iphone through apple with next, i checked everything before i ordered to make sure i had the right phone number and all that for the upgrade, the more odd thing is the rep i was talking thought my shipping address was in Iowa and im in california soooooo thats really confusing but at least he let me change it

Has anyone tried to contact UPS regarding the delay in China? Their system might show that it is already left China...

There's weather on the route between China & Anchorage, not to mention a large flood of planes coming into Anchorage. FlightAware says average of 30 minute delay for incoming flights. Many planes in China may be packed and waiting on a ground-stop until the airspace traffic jam at Anchorage clears.

Quick question!

I live in a hotel-style apartment complex. Packages get delivered to the front desk and they sign for them. When my iPhone gets delivered this Friday, will UPS let them sign for it, or does it have to be me?

Thanks!

Another X in the air!

Out of curiosity, does anyone here have a PO Box? The USPS now lets you have a street address for PO Boxes and UPS delivers to them. Anyone know if this works for iPhone and other Apple deliveries?

The “Exception” message has finally cleared on my tracking since the phone started moving again. The phone had been sitting in ZZ since 10/29 and it finally departed today. So everything is good to go for Friday’s pick up.

They just need a signature. Anyone will do.

All the reviews on YouTube are saying Face ID works flawless but TheVerge saying Face ID doesn't work in sunlight

Honestly, I don't entirely trust their review cause they never showed a clip where it doesn't work
Starting at 5:10 you can see that its not working, however i still dont trust their reviews. They used to be all about Apple and in recent years its become "cool" to be against anything apple. With that being said, i dont trust anyones reviews but my own since no one is paying me to own the device but its the opposite.

Do you have a pic? I want to see what it looks like. I scheduled pickup at my UPS CC on Friday, but it hasn't shown an exception. Only message is a delivery change has been schedule.

Probably best to get it Pre-Signed through the Apple website (IF it changes from "Preparing to Ship" to "Shipped").

I just wanna say that i love this part of iPhone week. The crazy tracking and hacks we do to get tracking sooner than apple provides us then the constant checking in to UPS and Macrumors to see if anyone elses has moved. Its so fun and exciting. Like Xmas, but not.
