Hi -- I'm in a similar situation. So no need to pre-sign for the package? I assume that's only in case there's nobody at your address when they attempt to deliver. So you're saying pre-signing is not necessary?

Yep, you only need to do the signature sheet if there's no-one home. As long as there's someone there to sign for it, you're fine.
 
If no one is able to sign for the package or the UPS driver decides not to leave the package regardless of signing the release form. I assume he will make a second attempt the next business day assuming Saturday would be considered a business day to UPS?

Side note “Hawkins” is actually a lot of filming locations in Georgia which is where I’m expecting my X so it wouldn’t be so bad if it actually were lost in Hawkins, at least then it’d be closer than departing from ANC >24hrs ago

Saturday is not a business day. To get Saturday delivery: a) It has to be available in your area, and b) the sender must have chosen a shipping option that is eligible for Saturday delivery

Are we supposed to get any email confirmations about in store pickup? The only email I got was the initial email that confirmed my 11/3 appointment and said delivery by 11/3. My card charged on Saturday but otherwise I haven’t heard anything since.
 
I’m picking up my phone tomorrow evening at an Apple Store. Because of that, I don’t have the excitement of tracking the phone through UPS. It’s kinda sad.

Yes, have that too. There's an update above it that says "Shipment in Transit" again with November 1, 2017 date. No UPS scan in KY yet either.
 
Apple just shipped my nov 16- 24 estimated delivery date phone. In the update it said I should have it by November 8th.

Seeing movements in few on the 17-24 groups give me hope I will see one in mine today or tomorrow!

Can you mention the time of order for our reference and maybe the color/capacity?

Mine is T-mobile 256 Space Grey - ordered around 12:15
