Mine says the same thing. Have to wait until later today to see if we landed.I'm in the 4:30 group. My Apple order page also says "delayed," with a "estimated" delivery date of 03 Nov.
All the people in this group need to check the order page on a computer and on Apple's website. This notice DOES NOT appear in the app AFAIK.

Here's my theory on the 4:30s. Ours arrived in Louisville first. All the others were stacked in front of ours. As they're scanning out, ours will get scanned last because they're at the back of the pile.
Cool. I am not too worried about getting it on time. I was just wondering if everyone in that shipment will be dispatched from Louisville via ground transportation today vs. the ones that have one more flight to catch before they go on trucks. Just thought that could be the reason others are getting scanned and processed before ours.
the delay was when the plane was delay for those two hours in AK, nothing to be worry about, stand down, we will get it tomorrow
Hello! I am new to the forum, but have been reading for a while. I am glad to know that I am not the only one that has been watching Flightaware and UPS like a hawk this week (my wife thinks I am crazy...). I wanted to give possible insight into the "delayed" status on the apple store sight. There was a marked delay on both flights from China and Alaska for the 4:30 group (myself included) due to weather and other events. The Flight from China was over 2 hours late arriving to Anchorage, and the Anchorage flight was over an hour late departing for Louisville. This may have caused the "delayed" response to pop up. My Apple Store order says "delayed" on Oct 30th - when the flights were delayed- and was updated to "In Transit" on Nov 1st. I also got an updated status email last night from Apple saying my iPhone had shipped (which I have been tracking since it showed up in UPS MyChoice on the 29th), and that Est. Delivery is still Nov 3rd. So it appears that they have been scanned for Import in KY, but UPS has yet to update their systems to indicate it in the tracking services.
I also saw an option on Apple's sight to "Pre-sign for delivery". It has you except terms, print out a page and fill it out and tape it to your front door for the UPS man to see. That way they will leave it if you somehow miss them. Just some of my thoughts. This is a cool thread.
ON a side note, I am sure most have thought of this but, today is the last full day of having a phone with a "Home Button" for a lot of people after 10 years of service. Today is probably going to seem like the longest day of the year for us...aside from tomorrow's waiting on the brown truck. Here's to the next generation and FaceID!
