Glad I snagged IPhone at Apple Store this AM, because my shipping now changed to next Wednesday, Nov. 29th.

Originally shipped on 11/14, that’s a grand total of 15 days lolling around in UPS Expedited Worldwide Service, while Apple directed full planes of unsold IPhones to roll out of China to meet the retail Black Friday demands.
Apple store still showing my Delivery for Today...Eeejits!

You obviously didn’t read my comment, because I did snag one this AM while I was chatting with the UPS rep who told me the shipment wouldn’t arrive until next Monday or Tuesday.....wayyyy tooooo long shipping!

I did read your comment. Read my 2nd comment again and you will notice I wasn't directing the snagging at you. it was directed at the bloke who never snagged his quickly enough, instead wasted precious time posting on this site asking whether he should snag it, and by the time he went back to do so, it was gone.

I still don't see a promise by Apple that it will be delivered, but moot point anyway seeing you snagged one from the store. Enjoy the new phone mate, it is truly a magnificent beast!

I'm never wrong. One time I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken.

Oh wow, it wasn't like that earlier this am when I checked. x-mas is going to come early for those "foreign speaking" families hunting iPhones in NYC - hahaha

Is it just me, or now that we have our phones, do you miss the thrill of checking for stock, snagging one, and then skipping to the Apple store to pick that baby up? I keep trying to convince my wife that she should get one (or take mine whilst I go hunting for a new one). Somewhere out there in the Universe, some lucky bugger is walking out of an Apple store right at this very moment with that Apple shopping bag and that brick like box with a brand new SG 256GB iPhone X in it - sigh!

Yep, that means that UPS missed it normal service commitment to deliver it (M-F), in this case by today and it is now a "Special' request to deliver tomorrow on Saturday. And UPS will not charge Apple for a Saturday delivery.

And I agree - the wait and chase is over and we have the phones. I miss that feeling too which is why this is the only thread I habitually revisit now that I have it. Lol. I am even considering getting an Apple Watch (although I personally have no use for it)..... I think.
 
Ugh I’m jealous of everyone. Ordered my phone on the 20th and still stuck in order in progress although my delivery date changed to Dec 7th - 14th. Hoping to see it ship out this weekend or Monday.

I don't expect early shipments. My estimated deliver window is 29 nov - 6 dec and it hasn't be shipped yet.

Just wondering - was it an option for you to walk into a store and pick one up....? Bc stores all over have these in stock now, in the mornings mostly.

I ordered through iUP, and I tried to cancel yesterday but they wanted me to call a rep to do that and I just did not want to go through all the hassle. I live in Oklahoma, so from what I’ve seen stock has been pretty limited in stores here. Made the mistake yesterday morning of not trying to get one as early as I could and missed out.

Finally mine arrived yesterday about 3pm. AT&T customer service wouldn’t activate it because they couldn’t confirm SIM card was a real one. Told me not to swap my SIM from old phone. Pissed me off. Closest AT&T owned store is 40 miles away. Fortunately we have an AT&T authorized retailer here in town. I will say they took great care of me. Gave me a SIM card for free (most of the time they charge $5). Activated my old 6s on my account for my child. I have a dealing they will get a lot more of my business in the future for taking such good care of me.

The phone is amazing. Took a little getting used to but overall it’s Apples best iPhone yet. I hope all of you still waiting will see yours soon! Thank you everyone for being a sounding board through the wait!!
