Updated to add how to get serial number for your phone

Thank dwfaust for the info.

Once our orders move to processing and we should start seeing some movement to 'preparing for shipment' over the weekend since release date Sept 22th.

Once this happens we should be able to get details on your phone and let the tracking begin :)

Here are some notes to help track orders:

FTFY - Serial number: see invoice once shipped

However - Thanks to dwfaust for the info:

If your phone status has changed to "Shipped", you can view the invoice on the Apple site.
That invoice has the serial number on it.

Go to Apple.com, then pick the ORDERS page (the little "shopping bag" icon at the far right on the home page... go to your orders page). Now, log in, and find your iPhone order... and click on Print All Invoices.

You can look up the week of manufacture and factory here: http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.htmlor

Why not get rid of the support profile page information as that information is no longer available?

Was thinking that too, it's annoying seeing it there although I get somebody will mention why isn't it there so maybe just cross it out.

So I just noticed that my new case came and damn, am I delighted that UPS is delivering my phone tomorrow and not Fed Ex. No clue how long the case has been sitting in front of the door (I only saw it because a solicitor came by and shoved something in the crack in the door & I was ready to charge out and let her have it when I damn near tripped over the package in front of the door). I’ve been working all day and my desk is maybe 25 feet from the front door. No bell ring, no knock, nothing.

Anyone know of the Apple Store hours on Launch days? I plan on being at a store for Launch day as a backup to not pre-ordering for the X, and wanted to make sure I'm not overthinking it.

Paid someone to stand in my place for 8+ hours at an Apple Store for me (I can get full refund by November 1st) so wanted to know the hours.

8 am. I looked at my nearest Apple store hours and had a Special hour posted for 9/22/17. So they will open at 8 am.

I ordered a few days ago and I'm scheduled for delivery on the 26th and mine is still showing the same thing. I don't think it will move until a day or two before the delivery date. I assume yours will start moving this weekend.

Hi,

I only found it strange as most you guys have an estimated delivery date rather than a range as I.

Anyway let's hope things will move over the weekend.

I was up at 01:30 CDT on the 15th, thanks to tips here I used the App Store App and got mine ordered by 02:15 at the latest. Mine is enroute from Nashville via UPS. I would not be surprised if most launch day deliveries are from Nashville. Can't wait for my 256 Gold 8 Plus...

Three UPS planes leave Louisville for Denver in the next 2 hours...eagerly waiting for the departure scan.

My watch just got a departure scan out of Louisville, but I cannot figure out where it is going. Looking at FlightAware the only flights leaving around now are to Houston and Phoenix. I'm in Grand Rapids, MI so I would expect a flight to either GRR or LAN.

Also, I'm still waiting on the arrival scans for my phones. The plane from Harrisburg to Louisville landed at 12:27pm EDT.

Not buying the Nashville connection. UPS' worldwide hub is in Louisville and FedEx' is in Memphis. There also appear to be regional hubs/staging sites around the country... but with Nashville being so close to both UPS and FedEx home, it's doubtful that "most launch day deliveries are from Nashville".

Curious about the "I can get a full refund by November 1st"... you get 14 days from date of purchase/delivery. Please explain (show your work). :D

My origin started from Nashville, TN and is shipped via UPS. But yes, the UPS worldwide Hub is in Louisville, KY. But the Apple Warehouse is located in Mt. Juliet, TN. I know this because I'd ordered Apple stuff in the past and if I needed to make a return the shipping labels has the Mt. Juliet, TN address on it.

With Apple.com Orders, they typically give you an extra week. Plus when you hit return, they give you another week to return it. I've done this couple of times. I bought something on 9/1/17 and apple and stated return by 9/21/17. But if I submit a return, then they give an extra week to return it.

As we all know, most Apple products are manufactured in China. From there, they ship to the rest of the world... but within the US, Apple has warehouses across the country... some in the midwest, some in the west, etc... in Arizona, our stuff comes either direct from China or via an Apple warehouse in Rialto, CA... saying that most Apple launch day products originate in Nashville is no more true than saying they originate in Rialto or anywhere else... these statements may well be true on a region-by-region basis.

And yes, when I spoke of UPS and FedEx, I was speaking of the shipping routes... sorry for any confusion.

Interesting... I have never heard that... I know that Apple does allow an extended return period around the Christmas season, as do many retailers... but didn't know that about other times of the year.

Yea I find it weird but I suppose it's because some may have issues receiving the on time or possible delay. I tested with the iphone 8 Plus and it shows that I have till 10/8/17 to click on it. Once you click "Return" they give you the date when they need to receive it by.

So mine just departed Louisville, KY and I live 2 hours away from Chicago and I see that there is a flight landing in Rockford INT'L, Airport. I wonder if mine's in that flight. UPS tracker said departed 3:02 PM EST.

I ordered my iPhone 8+ 64GB Gold around 12:01/12:02 on Pre-Order Day, was guaranteed Launch-Day Delivery, got the notification from Apple yesterday that it shipped, all UPS is telling me is that Order is Processed, ready for UPS and shipping label has been created, I know I shouldn't worry because I most likely will receive it tomorrow but I'm still kind of worried. I also didn't pre-order an Apple Watch Series 3 so I hope stores have plentiful stock of the GPS-Only Variant as I don't need cellular.
