Mine doesn’t show it’s left AK and that it just cleared customs a couple hours ago...still a delivery date of today by 9. Fingers crossed tracking is just wonky and they’re loading it on the truck this AM lol

Same here, mine just fell off until tomorrow. It’s why Apple/UPS give such a wide range of dates - allows for delays/misrouted etc. So until tomorrow. They’ll get to their destination soon enough. Just be glad they don’t use FedEx SmartPost (any who knows that ugly process understands)!

How many alarm clocks do you setup the night before preorder ?

I’m up before 7 CST (my pre-order time), so I won’t need an alarm.

You could use the annoyingly loud default alarm on your iPad/iPhone and set it up to the loudest volume. That will wake you up!

Well my 11 Pro Max was not delivered to the correct address/city but was delivered and signed for and now my phone is likely gone and I’ll be out it’s value, wonder if they will let me insure that package while I am on the phone. Nope, smh get to play the “local dispatcher will call me within the hour game”

This has been a delivery journey full of surprises! No departure notice from ANC, but arrival at Louisville on 10/28 at 3:52 am! Guess we weren’t left behind after all; that’s very close to the scheduled arrival time of that Cathay Pacific charter. 😄

Glad yours finally showed up alongside ours!

Gotta love the server technology that UPS is using. Maybe they are still using MS-Dos and dial-up.... lol

My (husbands) phone just updated to deliver today instead of tomorrow!!! I just tracked it and it's in Riverside, but not out for delivery just yet.

We'll see if it actually comes today or goes back to Thursday.

Agreed, oddly enough my original preship estimated date was 11/2-4, but when it shipped Apple projected a 10/30 delivery date, given how my local UPS office runs, usually they are a day behind (UPS now says delivery 10/29)...looks like Apple was right on the money, we shall see

Just got a Louisville scan, woohoo! I’m going to be curious to see how the tracking falls out-time, route, etc-on our other 3 phones compared to the time these have taken. Maybe only the first wave goes ZZ to ANC and the rest sightsee on the way?

UPS finally did the polite thing and rescheduled my delivery date to tomorrow and I'm stoked (I can go to dinner without anxiety now). My husband had made plans to go to lunch after I had asked him to please stay put - he canceled when he saw I was bothered by it but I told him the phone probably would not be delivered today anyway (this was before my updated scan)... I'm glad he reconsidered but now I feel bad he cancelled though he assured me he didn't really even want to go.

Now I have the ONE day... just this one for UPS to actually deliver otherwise I'm waiting 4 additional days. My only wonder is if I should hold for pick up (which I don't really want to do so late in the game) or just rely on my driver. UPS my choice has always been spot on and I've not had issues with packages to my house. Someone will be home ALL DAY TOMORROW.

How many of you in the 5:46 crew are having a home delivery VS hold at UPS CC?

If everything goes smoothly for me tomorrow I'll be over the moon.
I'm wishing everyone a successful delivery / pick-up experience today/tomorrow!

Waiting game for sure. My delivery date still says today and estimated time has remained 1:30-5:30 but that feels impossible if it hasn’t even hit Kentucky yet. I know I’m 3 hours behind EST but I can’t see my phone being put on a truck and out for delivery TODAY. My package would already have to be here by this point. Oh well... tomorrow it is but I’m wishing I held for pick up now. Even though it’ll be hard to go to ups with my work hours.

We will be home all day tomorrow so I just pray it shows up. 🤞🏻

I have to say that I thought my sleuthing skills were pretty good, finding the Cathay flight. Scan times match identically, and I couldn't find a UPS flight that left HKG at that time... I looked in the air near Japan to find the Cathay flight with identical departure time and saw the estimated arrival in Anchorage was the same... I still think my phone will arrive today, even though it still shows in Louisville... delivery time frame shows 12:15 pm to 4:15 pm arrival today.

Yea but it has more to do with what expectation you set vs the actual result. It could come the same time but the customer will be happier if it came earlier than quoted than later

I'm going to stick without making changes - my luck that would screw things up. Since my husband will be working from home and we are getting our sofa delivered tomorrow I feel pretty secure. He told me that if the phone showed up today he would drive it to my office. I'm only 3 miles away but I appreciate the thought.

Well fingers crossed there are no hiccups. I only have a KY import scan so I'm not out of the woods but I'm hoping for the best for all of us like you wouldn't believe!

Unfortunately the only Apple store even close to me is in a mall that opens at 11 in the afternoon. I’m not sure how preorder pickup works there.

Even if I go on the Apple app now, it’s not showing an option to pick up at that location 🙁

Instore availability is much worse this time around. Even 512s and sim frees are hardly anywhere nearby. Is shortly before 10PM still the best time to start watching for in store stock?

This is what I thought too. At least it is past customs and is in the US. I've see stuff move pretty quickly before once it was in UPS's hands and in the US.

My tracking still shows it in Louisville and just updated to a delivery tomorrow, 10/29 by 9 pm. That works too. Apple shows 10/30 on their site. My estimated delivery range when I ordered it was 10/28 - 10/30. I was hoping for today, though.

I am going to date myself here, but there were things about MS-DOS that really appealed to me! Quick and easy, for many tasks. I was slow to warm to Windows when it emerged as the DOS alternative, and was disdainful of Apple computers until I bought my first white iBook, just to accept and read student writing assignments, because I was catching so many viruses from them in file transfers and MS Word. Never looked back after that lovely little white iBook!

So...I was originally going to order a Pro Max in November, but I tried out my friend's 12 pro today and I think I like that better. I just ordered my 12 Pro and have a Nov 18 - Nov 25 delivery date. I was just curious for people with past experience how accurate their timeframes are? I would really like to get it sooner than Nov 18 - Nov 25 so that I can try it out for a little before deciding on the 12 pro max. Thanks in advance!

Delivery quoted by Apple is usually over extended.
Actual delivery is much better.

My 12 Pro I ordered on 10/16 was supposed to arrive 11/3-11/6 but is showing up today !

So much easier for us east coasters than it used to be having to wake at 3 am.
