That's normal these days. I haven't had a delivery that required signature for . . . I don't know how long (years?).

In fact, it may be something that you have to request - i.e. it defaults to no signature, unless you request otherwise.

Anyone else know for sure?
The default is signature required. Outside of this year, I have always had to sign for my UPS phone.

they just updated the time DANG so late

Ok, this was absolutely bizarre and I am so darn lucky I had my security cam on since I am in the back of my house in the office.

Black pick up truck pulls in front of my house, no idea why. I notice he comes out w/ boxes. (

One of these boxes IS the phone! This wasn't a UPS truck, that live map was still showing him a few miles away, still showed 11:45am-3:45pm.

I DID have to sign on his little tablet device for this with my finger.

Oh This would have been a major downer if I ignored this.
Anyway...as odd as that was...just like this entire year I guess....it is here! 🙂

They do have private contractors in some areas now when can’t handle volume. Probably more so Black Friday and season starting.

Weird, tracking says it's out for delivery but I haven't gotten that email and there's no option to follow it...is your status under tracking "loaded on delivery vehicle"? Maybe my guy hasn't left for his delivery run yet.
I don't think it shows up until status changes to Out For Delivery Today. Maybe?

My UPS tracking also says "Preparing for Delivery". Supposed to be here by 9pm. I wonder if due to the mass amounts of shipments today, trucks are making multiple shifts? I am getting concerned I won't get it today.

Wow! I bet you were sweating those 10 minutes! LOL!
I was. At one point I heard her say it was sent back to the shipper, but she was talking about another package.

The ridiculous part is that she was there at 7:30AM when they realized the packages were still in the hub.
Crazy. Glad they "found" it. They "lost" a huge golf net for me. Delivered 1 of 2. Had to go pick up the other one since it would show out for delivery each day and not be delivered at end of day. Happened like 3 days in a row. When I got to CC to pick it up, it took them about 20 minutes to find it.
