Reason being that in order for a plane to leave ZhengZhou, one has to go there first. Since UPS doesn't do a regular run to ZhengZhou, it has to be one that doesn't do a regular route. This one doesn't. It's due to land in Hong Kong, it would be very easy to go from there to ZhengZhou and then to Incheon to get the ZhengZhou phone's into UPS's normal flow.

Good catch! I was just looking at ZhengZhou's page and I'm not seeing any scheduled flights for UPS departing... but I'm not sure if they would be on there or not, especially if it's an irregular trip.
 
I just spoke with my UPS driver about Friday. He said he's not going to deliver near Central Park. If you're way west then you're fine.
I said that UPS suggested that I pick up the package and he said not to worry.
Fingers crossed!
 
So, in what is a major update from my status last night, I have had quite a bit of movement on my side of things. I now have a tracking reference with UPS, my phone is in my support profile and I have received my AppleCare+ Welcome Kit email. My phone is in ZhengZhou, China just like a lot of peoples on here... hoping for movement by tomorrow afternoon :)

My boyfriend didn't get it either. I tried to explain the excitement and he nodded and smiled, but I know he doesn't care. And that's OK. :)

So it does look like my phone is in Harrisburg. Kinda interesting that the phones that are going to the greater NYC area are in PA already. I wonder if apple did that deliberately due to the pope?

I got an email yesterday from Apple about personal setup :) my iPhone is also in ZhengZhou, I'm pretty curious to see how it will reach us so fast on the 25th. I bought the T-Mobile 128GB 6s Plus and I'm so glad I did.

I bought an iphone 6s 16g Space gray the 9/12/2015 and so far is processando..será that will be delayed?

I am concerned because I am not in the US, will arrive tomorrow and stay until day 27

I tried explaining it to my gf also about how this community all comes together to track the phones because it's just plain fun. And the excitement and she just can't wait until I get my phone so I can stop talking about it lol

If I remember correctly, my Apple Watch never showed up in UPS until it had an origin scan in Louisville, KY. I'm not very familiar with he UPS shipping routes, if I had to guess they will ship from China to Anchorage then to the hub they need to go to. It is currently 2:24 AM on Wednesday in ZhengZhou, China so maybe we will see movement by the afternoon/evening hours here in the states.

UPS chat the guy tells me this
Dulce L.: I understand, I am checking and I show that we have a contractual agreement with some shippers, which limits the amount of packages that can be handed over to UPS on any given day, when this amount is exceeded, as in this case, the packages may experience delays. We need first to complete those packages that were given to us in previous days before we can export those that were recently shipped. My best advise is to keep on tracking the package on ups.com for further updates.
 
Whew, I looked at the AT&T preorder thread and I'm glad that I didn't go that route. I saw how it went with them last year, and I didn't want to chance them this time around.
