Yah, and I'm not posting by-the-minute updates on where the next Boeing 747 is...so I don't see your point?

I popped in for actual order status updates, not Delta updates.

This is a yearly event where we track our phones including flight statuses which carry our iPhones . It's what makes the whole process that much more fun. If you're going to be a negative joe, don't comment or just look at what conveniences you. Macrumors.com's frontpage even encourages this kind of conversation. Go rain on someone else's parade.

The front page will tell you when people start getting status update changes... this thread is always dedicated to the tracking process and has been for years. This is not new, surprising, or anything people here haven't heard before.

I'll leave everyone be after commenting on the bold statement above: It looks like stress in fun's clothing, if you know what I mean.

Once the phones are scanned in the United States we will typically see the status on Apple's website change over to "Shipped." This is from previous years experience.
Not true, I am still in PFS and my phone got to Harrisburg yesterday and left this morning, still at PFS

I feel like my phone has been sitting here forever

You're spending YOUR free time stressing out over how other people are spending THEIR free time.

I see the whole tracking process as a simple stress reliever because you know exactly where the phone is. It's obviously overkill to know its exact GPS coordinates while flying over the Pacific, but it takes like 2 seconds to hit the refresh button, and is a nice break from the chores of daily life. And it's also a little bit of fun to "hang out" with the other people who have phones on the same flight.
