My order still shows Preparing for Shipment. Nothing comes up in UPS when searching my phone number.

Not really worried, I'd just like to see some movement. I'm assuming it'll change at some point tomorrow.

Edit: Nothing comes up for my number because it's not on my order. :/

Mature, doofen ... They're mature phones. :p

I may or may not know about old phones. I may or may not also have a sickness.

For anyone who doesn't have tracking yet: I noticed that my order number (minus the last two digits) does not bring up my shipment - only the phone number and another random reference number.

For some reason, my phone number is all zeroes on my order. That's why looking it up as a reference isn't working. Hope that doesn't screw anything up.

Louisville, Kentucky is the UPS World Hub. Almost every single package UPS Ships typically goes through there. Most, but not all
I'm in AZ. My phone is shipping from Rialto. If they send it to Kentucky and then me then they are not the logistics masters they claim to be.

I have stuff from Apple sent from PA and instead of taking a straight shot down to me which would take a day, it goes through Kentucky then to me. PA and WV border each other. Doesn't make sense in mine and your world, but maybe it does in theirs, I dunno

It would take a helluva lot more planes, most of them nowhere close to filled, to cover every route that could be a short hop. Instead, they send it all to Louisville, sort it out, and then send everything back out in plenty of time.

I can't imagine it makes much sense financially (especially on a next-day air shipment) to load it onto a bunch of different planes.

Exactly. For anyone reading -

Then packages are sorted and consolidated with other packages of all kinds going to the same destination service center delivery area, and flown or trucked to that location.

It's efficient and works very well.

I work in the industry and have for a long time. I've considered writing a thread on how logistics work but I doubt anyone would read it.

Dude, quit BS'ing us. We all know minions are responsible for everything and the only people that work at UPS are the drivers so the truth doesn't get out. I have proof.

I think i hit a button by accident and i got this reschedule delivery request changed. but it still says 2 business days. Is this a problem

There is that lone flight (UPS77) that's going from Anchorage to Ontario, CA... doesn't seem to match the 4:39p departure times on some phones though.
