I'm getting a tmo version to use on att, I mean how do I test if it supports band 30? I have an in store reservation for the upgrade program also, I'm thinking of getting an att version instead since it has CDMA compatibility.

They both have CDMA compatibility.

Model A1633 and A 1634 have band 30
Model A1688 and A 1687 do not

Everything else is the same.

The Tmobile version is not going to be the same as the ATT version. It's listed very specifically on Apple.com which version is which. Those who ordered a tmobile version will get the one without band 30 or whatever.

Sit rep, got an import scan earlier and my phone is officially in the US now!
Looks like our phones will be going separate ways later today, we've had a good time together #teamzhengzhou #teamups99 #teamiwishmyphoneleavekentuckyalready

At least you have an import scan! Both of my phones are sitting in KY with a day old arrival scan and no sign of departure. I'm not really nervous, I know they can get it to my by tomorrow as Louisville is only about 7 hours away from me, but it would be nice to see some movement. :)

That is definitely a bad idea lol

Yep, the best you should really know is where you fall on the standard delivery routes in your area.

I know I'm in the first residential area my UPS driver hits, we always get things before 9 am on a normal day so hopefully it's not too far off from that tomorrow :)

My 6 Plus didn't get here until 18:29 last year. Hoping that doesn't happen again but it probably will.

I've noticed that the Verizon shipped status show "CDMA," and both the AT&T and T-Mobile status say "GSM." I realize traditionally Verizon is CDMA and AT&T and T-Mobile are GSM, but my point being...

I wonder if that means the T-Mobile version will have the AT&T Band 30 too? I know many people have speculated that only the AT&T version would have Band 30? I was hoping the T-Mobile would too, in case I don't switch to T-Mobile.
The awesome thing is that I am on Verizon and all Verizon iPhones are factory unlocked. My brother has ATT and we tried it with my 5,5s, and 6 and they all connect to ATT LTE. I also tried with my sister's T-Mobile sim card and it connected fine with LTE.

Where? I am not so sure, you load an At&t model on T Mobile model they say GSM phone, add a verizon or sprint they same CDMA.

I have not seen it listed very specifically. I see the one with band 30 and the one without band 30 in the tech specs. However, I have not found where it says AT&T gets the band 30 model and T-Mobile does not. Could you point us in the right direction towards what you have seen? For the United States, there are only two versions total. Thank you.

I wish I would see this! UPS on mine says it is coming from Kentucky also. I am in PA and the shipping is listed as 2nd Day Air. No movement past "Label Created" on 9/20. Doesnt take a genius to figure out that 2nd day Air wont get it here tomorrow despite the 9/25 estimated delivery. Looks like I took the day off to sign for my package for nothing. *grumpy*

They all say that - 2nd day Air. Today is the first day; tomorrow is the second day.

This link leads me to believe T-mo, sprint and vzw will get the one model and ATT the other with band 30.

They all have CDMA radios
I preordered a tmo version cause I thought att versions did not support CDMA until the day after preorder Apple updated the spec page. Now all the phones officially support CDMA, the question is wether the non-att versions support band 30.

Correct. I can't believe they changed the spec sheet after the announcement happened, just bad form.

Thanks I finally found it just before coming back here too. Yep, you look exactly right. Thank you.

I wonder the reasoning behind this? The Band 30 support for AT&T creates an entirely different model for Apple to produce. Why do that? If you need to have Band 30, why not put it in all the phones? I wonder if there are some advantages to the components in the non-band 30 models that make them a better choice if not being used on AT&T? Or, does it save maybe $1.00 on the units that don't need the Band 30 support and when you're selling millions, $1.00 adds up?

Whatever the case, it's disappointing for those of us who were not decided on if we'd use it on AT&T or T-Mobile. Now I feel I need to either re-order an AT&T model for flexibility (full price and get them to unlock it with receipt), or commit 100 percent to T-Mobile.

Will probably go out tomorrow.

I just got a text and email alert from UPS about my package. Does anyone know what this means? When I check the status on ups.com it still appears to be in transit and on time.

Exception Reason: WE'VE REQUESTED A MODIFIED INTERCEPT FOR THIS PACKAGE.
Exception Resolution: THE REQUEST FOR THIS PACKAGE WAS CANCELLED
