Apple.com: iPhone 6s / 6s Plus Order Tracking

I am doing a swap with another line that still has unlimited data. It has been fun following this thread and hope everyone enjoys their iPhones tomorrow!!!

Your iPhone flew on Atlas Air? That doesn't seem right. It should of flown on a UPS plane.

My account still states the above. The same sort of thing happened with the iPhone 6+ and the Apple Watch. UPS takes off from Southern CA., fly over my house, land in Portland, fly back to my home airport where my local UPS has drivers do an immediate pickup at the airport to deliver iPhones. At least that's how it has played out in the past. They were even driving a station wagon type vehicle for delivery of the 4s and were at my house by 9:30. That car was packed with phones. That would've never worked in the big city, but in our little big city it worked just fine. The flight from SC to Portland happened at about 4:00 in the morning. I expect no movement before then.

I stopped taking the day off work with recent launches and now have them hold it at the hub. I believe I will have an iPhone 7 celebration with the day of and the drinks flowing next year. Think they'll announce it on September 7? It's a Wednesday. Will the Space Ship, or at least the "stage" section be done by then? Oh wait enjoy the moment this is the iPhone 6s glory day:)

I'm not too worried about my delivery tomorrow either. With the past few iPhones, our UPS here sent out minivans (unmarked) delivering the phones! If I remember correctly I got my iPhone 6 preorder before 10am - where as my usual packages from UPS come after 8PM. So I guess it is a 'little big city' thing?

Thanks SO much!! :D I heard so many mixed responses, someone said it doesn't apply till the first delivery but I just want them to keep it there since they open at 8:30am and I'm 14mins away.

I have this at the top of my tracking info. I don't recall seeing something like this before. Is this normal?

I have the same thing. It's happened to a bunch of people. Doesn't seem to be anything to worry about. For me it changed when they recognized that I requested to pick up. Also a few people on this thread who seem to be either in the biz or work for UPS say it's nothing to worry about.
 
My phone still in Louisville,KY. It's been there since 9/23/15 12:47am. Not movement and I'm in Hawaii.hope it gets here tomorrow.

It flew Atlas Air GTI823 it is the only flight that closely matches the tracking info. Then it flew on UPS 5514 from Louisville to Burbank. I believe there is no airport in Sylmar, CA.

Atlas Air is mainly an American cargo & passenger charter airline.
 
Mine was ahead of schedule and when the girl got hers early, Apple put the hold on it. My 128GB S. grey 6S left Harrisburg PA 9/22... Then there was a delivery exception and now I can't track it!!! UPS can't tell me anything except "the hold that was placed is now removed" Losing my mind bc I took the day off and my wife's phone already is on the truck for delivery!! ARRRRGGGHHHH

There is a flight UPS 32 departing Louisville to Honolulu departs at 3:35 AM Eastern and arrives Honolulu 6:18 AM. Should make it just in time for tomorrow delivery

Mines in Minneapolis and is supposed to be in western Canada tomorrow. Already some people on the Canada thread have had their date bumped to Monday so am a bit worried I will as well, but it's only a phone..right!? :/

I heard pope visit will delay New York City and Philadelphia. So don't worry you will get it by Tuesday.
