Do a soft reset. Mine was doing that also, just hold the home button and power button down until you see the apple logo. Should work completely fine after that.

I had put the sim from my 6 plus in .. but took it out and put back the sim that came with the phone and that worked. Weird .. I've always just swapped sims.

I just got mine a little bit ago. It's really nice. 3D Touch is very cool, it activates easily but not too easily where you'll accidentally activate it. The feedback is a nice gentle tap. Touch ID is instant basically. Very solid build coming from my plastic G2, this feels so much more premium.
We should all compare notes once ours arrive, see if we can determine a pattern or anything for next year.
Though mine dispatched from Orlando, so I'm guessing we're on separate routes.
A word of warning to SOME!!!! If you are still using an older OS (I am using Snow Leopard) installing iOS 9.0.1 will not allow your phone to communicate with iTunes! And without iTunes opening (accepting) your phone you WILL NOT BE ABLE to go back to an earlier iOS. It worked up until iOS 9 - but 9.0.1 is the killer. My iPhone 5 is now useless. I AM HOPING THAT SINCE THE 6s shipped with iOS 9 (and not the recent update) that my phone coming today will still work with the iTunes version I have.....
This phone is crazy fast. I can't get over how fast the Touch ID is now and I love 3D touch I got used to it already. Love how the Taptic Engine feels VS the vibrator from the iPhone 6. Overall great piece of technology.
FYI, I know it's a drastically different situation but the newest Windows iTunes stopped working with my 2nd gen iPod touch. Wouldn't even recognize that it was connected via USB at all. It did work fine with my iPhone 6 iOS 8.x and 9.x though.
Finally got it to work by doing a wireless sync from the iPod touch.
Got mine! Rose gold 6+ 128 gb. I went around 10am and I'm glad I did. The UPS guy said it was a line almost out the door when they opened! To me the rose gold looks really pink sometimes and then other time it looks more coppery. It's weird but it kinda changes tones depending on its surroundings. Super pretty color

Really love the 3D Touch, and I'm looking forward to developers and Apple increasing its functionality. I'm exploring Siri a lot more now that I can "hey, Siri" while unplugged, and I don't have to double tap the home button.
