Apple.com: iPhone 6s / 6s Plus Order Tracking

Status now "preparing for shipment!"

Quick UPS question. I signed up for MyUPSChoice and set an alternative delivery address - how does that tie into the phone shipment that will have my wife's name (it used AT&T's billing address even though I ordered through apple.com)?

Weirdly, the local UPS facility wasn't an option - I had to select a UPS Store as access point.
 
Went to UPS Mychoice but didn't see my tracking number, and the entry didn't pop up yet for 9/25.

Probably have to wait for it to move to "Shipped" for that to happen.

Nothing on support profile either.

Yeah, UPS will not set the routing facility as an option. It'll usually be a UPS Store.

Anyhow, UPS My Choice will also take into consideration yours wife's phone if you add her into your household. Look for "My Household Members" under the "Membership Information" link. From there, any packages in her name will also be included into your UPS My Choice rules.

If you're preparing for shipment, is payment information fully approved? My iPhone was replaced after I ordered a 6S Plus on Apple Pay, so I was scared the charge wouldn't go through.

If Preparing for Shipment, I should be good to go? Thanks!

Did you have to fix your credit card info?
 
Mine changed to preparing for shipment l, got charged yesterday and ordered my iPhone 6s sg 64gb on 09/12/15 around 12:45pm est

Did you wipe out yoUr device after pre ordering? I'm in the same boat. Except both orders still say processing

Thanks! I just assumed you could choose the sorting facility - it's like 3 blocks from my office and would be more convenient. Oh well!

The phone order is my number, which is used on My UPS Choice - just the shipping name is different. Maybe since the phone numbers will match we'l be good. I'll add her name per your instructions regardless just to be safe. Many thanks.

Well I ordered just past midnight pacific time Saturday morning. I had the initial pending authorization hit my Amex at that time.

My replacement iPhone arrived on Tuesday, so the Apple Pay Amex was deleted from that phone Tuesday. I put the Amex back on my new phone, but it's a new device account number obviously.

Good luck, I hope yours goes through without problem!! :)

You can only choose the sorting facility if it has a customer center there. The one near me does, so it shows up as an option for pick up.

Just don't panic if you don't see the status changed to "Shipped" in the next few days, or if it does say shipped, it just sits in China for a while. :)

Mine is Preparing for Shipment, too. 128gb, space grey, 6s+, AT&T. Ordered through the Apple Store app at 2:06 am central
