I am 16gb (don't kill me) rose gold for verizon. ordered from the apple online store on monday I think? delivery shows 9/25 but still stuck processing.
My status changed to "Preparing for Shipment" at some point during the night. Ordered at 3:12AM EST on launch day. Haven't yet been able to recover tracking number through searching by reference. Nothing on support profile yet either.
Hahaha that's good, keeping it simple. You got the rose gold, awesome! My phone literally just moved a few hours ago. I think today will be the day everyone starts seeing some progress.
I hate UPS more than any other company on the planet. Why, Apple, why did you have to switch from FedEx?
I talked to Apple about moving from preparing to shipment to processing. I was told that it was likely due to changing billing information; but everything was still on track for Friday.
I'm not entirely sure that makes sense considering that it was processing a while before moving to preparing for shipment after the card was changed.
I'm curious about the others that have moved from preparing to shipment to processing. Did you have to make a change on billing?

No I didn't make any changes at all and I'm still sitting at processing after being moved to Preparing for shipment yesterday.
For the folks that have found their tracking info via reference, can you please advise as to whether you're putting a country code in front of your ten digit phone number?

Gonna pick it up at the UPS hubI woke up to a notification from UPS My Choice. I didn't even know the status had changed from processing to preparing for shipment. I tracked by reference just now and only used my 10 digit number, no country code. And there's a new update, departure scan 9:37 pm.
Well... So much for that pattern. Have you talked to Apple? I'm curious what the reasoning they give you is.
Of all the people with tracking information, would you let us know if you had a billing information change?
For those who are getting tracking numbers and serial numbers, did your card get charged (not pending)?
I haven't spoken to them because I understand that support reps have little to absolutely zero control or reliable information as to how the launch is going to play out.
My card got charged and the charge was posted two days ago, but I have not gotten tracking or serial.
