I talked to Apple about moving from preparing to shipment to processing. I was told that it was likely due to changing billing information; but everything was still on track for Friday.
I'm not entirely sure that makes sense considering that it was processing a while before moving to preparing for shipment after the card was changed.
I'm curious about the others that have moved from preparing to shipment to processing. Did you have to make a change on billing?
Were you assigned a tracking number, or did you find it by reference number?Serial number is in my support profile and says it was made in week 38. I found the tracking number too by reference.

thank you very much!I woke up to a notification from UPS My Choice. I didn't even know the status had changed from processing to preparing for shipment. I tracked by reference just now and only used my 10 digit number, no country code. And there's a new update, departure scan 9:37 pm.
