My order status from Apple still shows "Preparing for Shipment". However, when I log into my UPS My Choice account it shows a delivery on 9/25 from Apple and provides the shipping number. If you have a UPS My Choice account, I suggest you hop on there and check for a scheduled delivery.

Yeah I get an email notification whenever something is shipped to my house and so far nada. Hopefully tonight I'll see something.

My order status from the Apple Online Store has changed to 'Preparing for Shipment' for my iPhone 6s Plus!

I normally get this too, but I didn't for my iPhone yet. I would go to www.ups.com and login to your My Choice account. It will show you a calendar and it will probably show the shipment on Friday.

So I ordered the 128GB 6s+ AT&T in Space Grey from Apple.com, my order went through at 3:04AM, I've yet to be charged, and my order is still at "Processing". What's more, my pre-auth hold fell off today. Do I need to be worried? My order does still state Delivery on 9/25.

Speaking to an Apple support person right now...I wasn't expecting MUCH information but I thought I'd see if I could get anything out of her. Surprisingly forthcoming since, after all, it is Apple...

We do have a warehouse in California, it could definitely ship from there since it is a new item, and we are trying to get them to our customers as soon as possible

I think we will move away from "Preparing for Shipment" to "Shipped" when they move iPhones out of China. I guess they've already been prepared and are likely sitting in a warehouse. Mine's in ZhengZhou, China.

It's Sunday afternoon in China. Assuming UPS doesn't work on Sundays, then that means on Monday (time in China), we'll see them ship?

They could also ship Tuesday.

See my above post about UPS My Choice...

Oh trust me, UPS works Sunday's lol. It's our busiest day in the hub where we process the most volume for the week. However, we don't deliver on Sunday's (only under certain circumstances); whenever I walk into the hub on a Sunday, all the delivery trucks are parked inside, whereas during the weekdays they're all gone on their routes.

I ordered mine 128 6s Plus SG at 12:05am and still says processing. I think there will be movement over the next 24 hours.

You guys work Sundays and it still takes forever to get my damned parcels!

I'm just kidding. I respect you as a person but I hate your company.

This much activity. This early.

I'd say as ardent as most of you guys are about Apple products and ordered the instant it was available to you, gives you a SUPERB probability of receiving a launch day phone.

Remember we are still 6 days away.

Also, it could be possible Apple authorizes deliveries a day early to zip codes that will be adversely affected by the pope's visit. Or maybe they let UPS deliver ALL phones a day early. :)

Most of the people I know love UPS around my area, as do I. UPS has never let me down and I love my choice for Apple deliveries. Fedex has lost packages for me twice, Ontrac (from Amazon Prime) is just completely unreliable.

That's quite interesting to hear! I'm the complete opposite. UPS and I are sworn enemies - that's why they deliver my packages at 8PM every time (and no earlier) to both of my residences in different parts of the city. FedEx has never let me down, and I swear by Ontrac for anything that needs to be rushed.

I respect all shipping employees personally though, as they are all, from what I understand, extremely hard workers. My grudge is with UPS as a company - I don't like the way they do business and neither does my family.

I spoke to a UPS driver a few weeks ago and asked what he thinks about working for UPS....given my negative attitude I was really hoping he'd agree that his company is awful but to my surprise he spoke very highly of them.

It makes sense to me that they focus on business shipments during the day, and make more residential deliveries at night, because in general, that's when someone will be there to receive the shipment. If it were not for the fact that I work from home most of the time, I'd prefer they not leave it on my doorstep for hours.

Fair point. Perhaps I'm just being shortsighted.

Well delivery times depend on your area, but UPS delivers later in the day for me as well (around 4-6 PM), but you always have the option of holding the package so you can pick it up early. Ontrac though, they've thrown my packages, (if they did manage to deliver them to me and didn't deliver it to the wrong address), and don't even knock on the door! I'll be super happy when Amazon just stops using them.

My philosophy is, as long as they do it on the day of delivery, manage to find my address correctly, and don't mishandle the package, I couldn't care less whether it's early in the day or 11:59 PM. :)

I know it's no big deal and I will get the phone, but gosh darnit I want PFS

Yep, I used My choice for the Apple Watch. That time, my Watch showed up immediately on the MyChoice delivery planner. It hasn't this time but that's okay, it will probably update later.

My watch didn't show up on MyChoice until 18 hours before it delivered. It happened right about the same time the Apple website updated to say "shipped."

That's the thing with Apple - the shipping times and dates are all over the place, but stuff still arrives when they say it will.

UPS was our client at a firm I used to work for. While not perfect, and no firm is, they were apparently pretty decent to their employees at least from what I learned. Ive had nothing but good experiences with them, As a customer. However, I do realize YMMV.
