I wouldn't recommend you pick it up at a store, as this will delay delivery to Monday the 28th. I have my tracking number and have verified that it will only be available for pickup at a CC on the 25th
Odd, was able to locate my tracking number (says label was created, so I guess it's not quite ready yet), but it was with my regular phone number not my wireless phone number, and it shows its coming from Mount Juliet, TN. Also shows its 1.4 lbs (which seems high, but I imagine will likely get updated once it's actually picked up).. So I guess not all orders made on Apple's website in fact do come from China.. least I'm one step closer to knowing its on its way.
Just checked my support profile and my new 6s shows up! Also checked myUPS choice and it shows up for Friday delivery. I went ahead and changed it to be held at the customer center for pick up!!
As long as we select the actual customer service depot or whatever it should easily be the 25th, no? I just found my tracking # and while its only at the "label created" stage, it let me select for pickup at the UPS Customer Service Center (not a UPS store) and says it will be ready for PU on the 25th.
There's always this....my only concern is what I'm going to name my 6s plus when it's finally added to my support profile.

Why is that? The CC opens at noon by me. Which is absurd. Have to be at work much earlier.
I have held a few items at a CC (wine, bourbon, turntable). The wine and bourbon were received at the CC the night before delivery and those items were available the morning of the scheduled delivery date. The TT was received at the CC during the morning of the scheduled delivery date and it was available around mid-afternoon for pickup.
I know Fedex usually allows us to presign for deliveries, but will UPS? I will be at work and my wife is going out of town. By the time I get home the UPS store would be closed,
UPS allows it via the "My Choice" program (free to sign up). I have pre-signed plenty of items.
Yeah, I'm definitely picking it up at UPS CC. I can get it during lunch or, if I'm lucky, before I go into work.
I'm Pretty sure it's based on the billing phone, not the wireless number (unless they're the same)
They aren't.. Odd that it didn't track using the order # (minus last 2 digits) however, and just my other number (which is actually my Google Voice # that I use for everything).

Sweet, I am signed up. Just gotta wait for them to appear. Shame I didn't order both phones at the same time. Still annoyed that the phone ordered later has already PFS'ed.
That is pretty rare, from my understanding. I think the iPhone 4 or 4S was allowed to break street date cause a bunch of folks got it early.Greetings from France,

They've been making iPhones for some time now. I wouldn't be surprised if a large number are already stateside to fill the first round of pre-orders.
In fact now that I think about it I've never had a pre-order phone shipped from China. Always from some warehouse in the US.
Wow, this is aggravating. Been in preparing for shipping for going on three days now, charge hit card as well three days ago. Still no information on Apple Support Profile, and no dice tracking with order # or phone number. I'm all but sure it will be here Friday (not worried) but it always adds a bit of comfort to at least have the tracking number. Seems like there's absolutely no logic to how they're scanning these things into UPS/FedEx/USPS systems either..

Hell yes ! I guess they do work on Sunday's. Been stuck on PFS for a few days now & just checked my newly updated Profile.Edit: Didn't ship yet, but I did find my tracking info on UPS MyChoice
