I used ApplePay on the Apple Store App to buy my gold 128 iPhone 6s Plus, AT&T Next at 12:06 PT am and got my email confirmation at 12:06 as well. Then I had to restore my iPhone from 9.1 to 9, so my cards all changed which means the personal identifiers change on those cards as well. I just got an email from Apple asking for an updated form of payment. I went in and updated to my AMX card and it has already been charged. I chatted with an Apple Rep and they are already showing my AMX payment clearing and I will definitely be getting my phone on the 25th. I was just hoping the payment things wouldn't cause to big of an issue.
It looks like Apple tried to charge it to ApplePay this morning, it didn't work, they sent me an email, and I immediately went in and changed it. All happened with in the last 20 minutes (10:24 am PT is when I got the email).

No need to be! I remember last year I pre-ordered the 6 Plus and was quoted an October 1-6 delivery window. Got in on September 26th instead (one week after launch day). Apple under-promises and over-delivers time and time again. This year will be no different (hopefully)!
Let's all just be patient, you guys. A lot of you have had your credit card charged and if it changed to Pfs, your order went through. I'm actually impressed that Apple is busily working hard to ship out 10 million iPhone pre-orders across the world, and perhaps MORE. If you didn't receive an email saying "Action Required" or "Your order has been cancelled", I wouldn't worry. You'll get your phones. Especially since you've been waiting a week and nothing's come up. Have hope.
Exact same thing happened to me! I guess that's a lesson learned using Apple Pay. When I updated my card it was charged immediately and I still show a 9/25 delivery date so all should be good.
Did you look in the pending transaction. That's where mine is at. I used apple pay too.

Just wondering... why did so many people downgrade from 9.1 to 9? Couldn't you have just updated your new phone once you got it?

My 6S ordered 3:04 EST has been processed and ready for UPS. I have a tracking #. I'm in Pittsburgh and the phone is coming from Harrisburg. I tried to change delivery to pick up at a UPS location, but the date changed to 9/28 so I cancelled that idea.
I think you have to pick up at a ups customer care center in order to pick it up that morning.
You have to pick the closest hub, which is usually from where packages get put in the truck for delivery to you. You most likely picked a UPS store instead.
Yep, UPS stores can cause a delay in shipping but if it's an actual UPS 'customer center'/distro hub then it should be available to pickup in the morning on 9/25.
(The customer center/hub is where the actual local truck is loaded, so they just hold the box there for you.)
Mine just showed up in my support profile!! Won't show up in UPS My Choice or track by reference yet though. Anyone who's been in PFS since Friday or earlier, I'd check your support profiles now.

Not yet. I expect to see it there at least at 3pm PDT (exactly 2 days since it went to Pfs, maybe later
