UPS also has a new CC at Independence Parkway (that's where I picked up my Apple Watch), so I'm going to call once my 6s+ ships to make sure before I request hold for pickup.
That location didn't show up when I went to select a location... I live near the Arlington area & there's a UPS CC in the area, but it only showed the Northside location in Fort Worth. It's about a 12 mile drive.. so, that's not bad. I'm just unfamiliar with the process that's all. When you picked up for your Apple Watch.. did you just show up at 8am on the delivery date & it was there?
PFS since Friday. Showed up in Support Profile yesterday. Still can't track by reference on UPS and doesn't show up in My Choice as of 7:30 am PT today.
When I go into work, I'm gonna ask my friend (who's a driver) if there's ever been any pandemonium amongst the drivers once Apple releases a new product. I'd imagine it's straight craziness trying to deliver all those phones in a single day...

I got my order in at 3:07am on 9/12 and mine is still preparing for shipment. They're shipping an insane number of devices so I'm not stressing over the status listed on my order page. We're still 5 days out so their's more than enough time for everything to happen.
I'm sure it is. However, the driver that delivers to me when I pre order a new iPhone every year is always on time that day.. Meaning there's no real delay, at least for him.
I'm seeing the UPS tracking info now. Looks like my iPhone is in Harrisburg, PA.
When you guys say reference number do you mean order number? Don't have a "reference" number listed on my orders page.
As of this moment both of my phones are showing up in UPS. My 6S weighing in at .40kg is sitting in ZhengZhou, CN and my 6S+ weighing in at .70kg has arrived in Chek Lap Kok, HK. Apple order status still showing PFS on both so its likely their systems are just behind on updates. I remember last year I was worried because nothing changed until the day before so this year I didn't worry about it at all. UPS MyChoice has also been great since both shipments are coming up well before any status or tracking info is provided.
Well I was a little surprised to see the name of airport where mine is right now, Chek Lap Kok, HK.
Really resisting all the security jokes right now ...

Ok but seriously, I guess to track via the flights you match up your shipping departure info with the flight times to guess which flight yours is on?

Same here. Finally saw it had departed. Figure the scan was just delayed since the plane took off a little over an hour before the scan time.
UPS My Choice shows my phone in CKK CN. Delivery date 9/25. Apple still shows as PFS but I did get an email from them just now with ATT Next return instructions for my old phone.
Was hoping it was coming via FedEx. They deliver in the AM. UPS ... ahhh usually sometime.

Same here. Mine is on the late bus too. Gotten my card charged on Thursday & was at PFS Friday around 2... And now today it showed up on my Support Profile & UPS.

Our phones are most likely going to that Northside location, but definitely call UPS when it's in route so that they can verify: if you hold for pickup at Northside, but it's actually going to the Arlington CC, it might delay your pickup. Last year, after I requested the hold, I went to the Northside location about 7:45 and stood at the gate until they opened at 8:00 am. By that time, there were about 10 people behind me who were there to pick up their iPhones. It didn't take long to get my phone and go. I gave them my tracking number and drivers license, they got the package, scanned it, and I signed for it. Easy peasy! The pickup area is toward the back of the building, and it's not well marked, just a nondescript door.
