You should get something like this below. Once you see that message, you should be able to pick it up then. Typically I Get an e-mail and text from UPS that it's ready for pick up.

Just got a departure scan from Newark, NJ at 5:59am. I'm in Manhattan so I'm confident I'll get it. The trucks here likely refill with packages multiple times a day. For most the phones should be on delivery trucks by this time.

What time does your CC open? My location has 2 separate open time from 10 to 12:30 pm and 4 to 6 pm. But the scan stated around 7-8 am is that it was ready. So it all depends but you should get an e-mail.

Yes, yesterday i enquired with ups representatives about my respective hub. Also asked them about scheduling a pickup there they said it might affect you delivery date. Then i gave up the idea.. do you think it is possible to pick it up as soon as they open

I tried that once and it pushed my delivery date. They do a special Apple pickup at night though.
