Same here. I think we are on the same flight! My ETA is now tomorrow. 2 day delay isn’t bad for a product that was supposed to arrive in 2 weeks

Finally, I started to see the light in other end of the tunnel........ Here is my entire order timeline recap:
- Placed order on 9/14 evening East Time for three phones (two xs 512G and one max 512G)
- Two xs shipped on 9/19 via Sheng Zhen, China, One max shipped on 9/21 via Zheng Zhou, China
- Per Apple status, two xs will be delivered on 9/21 and max will be delivered on 9/25
- Two xs arrived at Anchorage, AK on 9/22, and UPS also stated they were missed plane and will be rescheduled for delivery. One max is still at Zheng Zhou, China
- Two xs arrived in Louisville, KY on early morning of 9/24, yet only one xs continued on to destination city for delivery
- One xs delivered on 9/25, another xs is out for delivery now (9/26)
- The max arrived in Anchorage, AK on 9/25, and UPS updated delivery date to 9/27
So, hope the 9/27 date will hold the truth.....

This morning I spoke to both UPS and Apple again. Another hour on the phone, lol. And no one knows anything.
The phone is in Mississauga Ontario Canada since Friday night, they both say. Well no crap I know that.
They wanted to give me free ear pods (not air pods) or a case LOL. No thanks.
Long story short, if that’s possible at this point, is that a replacement phone is being shipped on the same order number. I should receive an update later today giving me a new delivery date. But the agent said it could likely be 1 to 2 weeks.
All I can do is laugh because this has been so ridiculous.

If you suspect a replacement is en route, you can check the serial on the original (apple.com, check your orders then click 'show invoice') which will show the original serial number... then compare that against what you actually get... of course, if they've already shipped a replacement, they may have updated your invoice info, as well.

You too!! Let me know how you like it, I’m debating whether to keep it or not, since my 7+ works fine. But the OLED screen was the reason and the screen size. I shall do a side by side comparison when it comes. Also what case did you get for your phone?
I ordered the same only I ordered on the 24th and mine is coming Oct 1st so it looks like they are very much on schedule from order date.

Thank you. But I’m quite sure what the point would be. Are you thinking it won’t be a replacement but the original? And if so I’m not sure it matters.

Mine also arrived in Alaska at 12:33pm. If it really takes off to Louisville in 45 minutes, it could possibly be delivered tomorrow. This is going really fast.

That is what I am wondering myself. Mine is going to Los Angeles after Louisville, where is yours? According to Flight Aware the next flight from Louisville to LAX is at 3:30AM with a landing in Los Angeles at 4:35AM tomorrow. Which would hopefully mean it will be at the UPS hub ready to pick up tomorrow at 8AM........That is if it doesn't get stuck in Louisville for a day........

I feel you haha.. Called Apple and they started a package investigation, UPS told them that the package label was damaged and Apple confirmed the address. Finally, my iPhone got out of Louisville.
Actually there are three flight from Anchorage to Louisville at about same time, UPS105, UPS109, UPS99. They are all arriving between 11:45pm to 12:50am. I am waiting for my last one (max), currently showing for tomorrow delivery. Mine showing Anchorage departure scan at 4:45pm (EDT). Hopefully on one of these flights.

They wanted to give you some free EarPods? Like the ones that are already in the box with the phone? OMG that's ridiculous.
I think I remember a former Apple employee saying that when Steve Jobs was alive they pretty much had carte blanche to make a customer happy. I even got a new iPhone 1st Gen well out of warranty when the data just stopped working. He said though that now they don't have nearly as much authority to 'make it right' as they used to.

When we heard this in the days leading up to launch we pretty much figured that this is boiler-plate nonsense that they regurgitate whenever they are challenged on tracking. There's no way UPS told Apple "Sorry you're shipping too much we have to hold some of your orders back." They know exactly how many to expect.

Phone was originally scheduled to be delivered 09/25. Then date changed to Fri 09/28. Just got an update saying it will be at my house tomorrow 09/27!

2 of the 3 planes have just landed and are taxiing while the 3rd plane will be landing in about 30 minutes. Will see which my phone is on in a bit.

My phone was scheduled for 9/28 delivery just had an import scan in Louisville and a rescheduled delivery date of tomorrow.....
Update: The plane from Louisville to Los Angeles took off 20+ minutes ago. My phone must be on it, even though I haven't gotten an deportee Louisville scan. It is the only UPS flight from Louisville to Los Angeles, where I would have delivery tomorrow. The next flight for this route is not until 4pm.
