I preordered an iPhone XS Max 256 gb in silver Friday at 8:30am EST and today around 1pm the shipment showed up in my UPS app! Still no option to hold it at a CC though, will keep on checking.

🙁 I ordered the same exact phone on Friday at 1:01am MT and I don’t have tracking yet. Although that adds to my theory that early orders already have phones here in the states.

My Apple order status says Preparing to ship, but when I check UPS using my order # as a reference number, it says the package was delivered to Austin Texas on 9/14.

Found one tracking number for order number -2 . But that’s not going to where I live ( North West). Going to Santa Rosa, CA. Wondering if Apple would have someone else ship from Santa Rosa to my home.

Or else I found a wrong tracking id which isn’t mine

How did you figure out your order

Sign into your UPS account and under shipment detail for your tracking number there is a reference numbers section which will list some numbers like order number, phone numbers and another number I couldn't figure it out.

Me too. Unbelievably smooth as compared to every single prior order day nightmare. Looks like they finally sorted out their launch day issues esp. with regard to the IUP.

My watch also has my phone number as a reference. Phone is 0.5kg; watch is 0.6kg. That should tell you.

I’m having the same issue. What did UPS say?

Oh I contacted thdm over Twitter, I prefer that over phone because of the chat and they can easily put the location exactly how I typed instead of spelling it. I emailed them too, but won’t expect a reply until Monday.
