Doing Store Pickup on Friday. I have a question, should I increase Apple Care to include loss/Theft? I am imagining in store I should be able to do so as needed. I have never had an iPhone stolen but given the price of the phone is more than I ever spent, I am not sure if it is worth the cost.

With the price of this phone, it was a no brainer for me, especially if you are in the IUP.

Think of it as insurance that you hope to never use, but is there just in case.

My Xs 256GB just showed up in ups as"in transit"... With departure scan... Apple store order still shows "Preparing to ship".

Yeah, the Apple Store is often several hours behind UPS at the beginning of this process.

We are all still on preparing for ship. The only way to get your tracking info right now is to track via reference using your Apple order number (without the last 2 digits) on UPS.com/track

That's a 9.5 hour drive. Short flight, but according to everyone's UPS tracking, they're sitting in Zhengzhou still.

Sometimes they take awhile to update, and scans have been missed completely in the past.

Same here. I got my order in about 20 min after the start (was trying to go with Best Buy and certs but they didn’t open till nearly an hour in).
I wonder if in your case it’s going to come from a cache already in the US. I know Apple usually preships some.
