Score! 64GB AT&T GOLD iPhone 5s. 1-3 days to shipping. I paid $10 extra for expedited shipping, because we are leaving for Europe on Oct. 2nd and I want to guarantee that I will have that good camera for our trip. I'm so happy!

Same here, and my email confirmation arrived literally 2 minutes after the store came online.
 
Ordered ATT silver 32GB off Apple Store app at 3:01 EDT, as soon as app reopened. Delivers 9/30 - 10/2...:(

Husband ordered Verizon space gray 64GB simultaneously off Verizon website and his delivers 9/24.:mad:

It's either the color or Apple store that delayed my delivery - not sure which. But I'm not sure I will keep it (will decide if fingerprint sensor and camera improvements warrant upgrade from IP5) so I wanted to order through Apple for 100% refund just in case.

Anyway, you might try carrier websites for quicker delivery.:)

5 minutes after I successfully ordered my 64GB Gold AT&T phone on the Apple Store app, the shipping times for all gold phones slipped to 7-10 days. Silver was still 1-3 days, the last time I checked. Good luck to all.

Yup, saw 1-3 days, by the time i click place order.. it became 7-10 haha. Oh well, I got 2 x 64 Gold ATT coming 7-10 days, 1 x 16gb space grey coming 1-3 days hehe they'll all be here eventually :)

I have changed to expedited shipping in the past, after placing an order. They were really nice about it. Just call Apple Customer Service and tell them your order number and that you want fast shipping. Last Nov, when I ordered the new iMac, they upgraded it for free when I called.
 
Went to order process as normal but just couldnt hit submit order button. Will I have any problem if I try buying in person later on today??
 
I should have ordered online. I've been in line since 23:30 and it's now 3:30 with no guarantee of the Apple store having what I want. Could have had what I wanted in 1-3 days.
 
64GB Gold AT&T

I was refreshing the website, 12:05, and then some seconds later, up live. Placed my order, and by 12:10, the shipping date for at&t, 5s-G64, was 7-10 business days.. Deliver by October 8-11th.

Wow. So, I am thinking they didn't keep any phones back for preorders, to maximize opening day purchases for those who line up..

3 Weeks! OMG.
 
picked up a 64GB gold for AT&T through the app and worked out great. I also got AppleCare+ but I'm kinda thinking against it now. anyone know if it's possible to call apple to cancel it?
 
This isn't preorder people so stop saying that. Big difference.

Also, Gold now says "October"

Don't be down, they are only shipping in 1-3 days not being delivered in that time.

I advise against it, but you can cancel it. Not only does it add accidental protection, it extends your warranty.

Most credit cards extend warranty too right? So is it mainly for the convenience of being able to just walk into an Apple store and get it replaced?
