For everyone saying there is no flight scheduled to their city, I would guess there is no prescheduling these UPS flights, they are probably filed at the last minute.

There are no overnight UPS flights *AT ALL* scheduled. Now look at departed for last night or any other night this week. There are DOZENS of UPS flights taking off all night. Do you think tonight is going to be the one night with no UPS flights taking off?

Did you try FedEx? I spoke with a driver today and she told me that they are bringing extra people in for tomorrow and expect to work late. (I had thought only UPS was handling the deliveries.)

Fedex seems to be doing a lot of the carrier deliveries.

Wait! I just checked packagemapping.com and it says the little guy is on route to my town. I guess this means its on a truck? It's about a 12 hour drive from louisville to ny.

FEDEX is delivering ATT orders, dunno about Verizon.

No scheduled flights for UPS from Louisville to DC area, and my tracking was last updated for an "import scan" at 8:39 this morning. Hopefully it's actually on a truck headed to Northern Virginia now!

Apple.com sold out faster than the rest. You can't compare purchase times from the carriers to your purchase time on Apple.com. Doesn't work that way.

Information that would have been useful on 9/14 as well knowing they were avail on appe.com at 3am est. not a guru with all this stuff I just followed what the store said being avail at 8am

There are no flights from KSDF to KDEN. It must be going to UT or NM (KSLC or KABQ).

Edit: unless it's traveling ground. Packagemapping says it's in transit to Commerce City, CO...

My updates said phone departed at 4:06pm to Commerce City, and I found a UPS flight, UPS2804, heading for DIA. Should be here 4:36pm our time. Wahoo!

Perhaps a failure to communicate, Apple stores open 8AM tomorrow for retail sale of the iPhone. Several other outlets are opening, Radio Shack, Walmart, Target, Bestbuy...

I live literally 5 minutes from the airport, and the UPS hub by the coliseum is as well. Do you think they'll drop mine off early? Or would they start delivering starting with the furthest areas first?

Al the websites (Apple, Verizon, Sprint, AT&T) said when availability for pre-orders started. AT&T even had an animated countdown on their site.

Just called Apple and mentioned as I have "Delivers 9/21 via Next Day Shipping" but no tracking info.

The rep let me know as shipping happens continuously and my item has not been shipped yet. But I will have it tomorrow and no need to worry.

Either she did not have access for shipping records, or phone is still somewhere in China or somewhere else in between and UPS forgotten to update Apple system. Let us see.
