This isn't hard to do anymore. It used to be, a single 24" was $800+, but you can get 2 24" for under $300 now a days.

When I get another desktop, I will run dual monitors for sure. We have some at work and they are nice. So much viewing space. Love it.

CRAP!!! What just happened!?

Being a Airline guy it could depend of where the aircraft is coming from that may be the problem and not the weather in SDF.. With that said the weather across the states is pretty quiet except for down in Florida.. Hopefully you still get it tomorrow.

Its the most instantly more productive upgrade you can get in my opinion. Dual screen iPhone anyone?? :D

Seriously I haven't renewed my desktop since '06.... I keep getting iPhones and blowing my PC budget... Bwahhhhhaahahahah

Good luck man. I tried to get them to confirm that I could pick it up tomorrow and not Monday as the site said because my place isn't open on the weekends. I couldn't get any warm fuzzy feelings from the people I talked to. I wouldn't trust anything they may have told you on the phone. The "But, I called and someone said I could pick it up today" thing may get their apologies, but it won't get your package.

Yeah, and what scares me is I've had nightmare pickup attempts with UPS in the past....so I'm a bit nervous. Especially since a guy called a few minutes later saying "We don't have your package so we can't hold it." Uh...no **** dude, you're supposed to hold it WHEN it gets there. Another call back and someone called the center and told me they did it wrong but guaranteed me it would still be held....we'll see.

Curious here too. Order went in at 0445 on 9/14.

"So you're saying there's a chance..."

Well I'm not saying there is a chance of anything - just hoping its going to be sooner than 10/5. It seems incredulous that there wouldn't be any deliveries at all between 9/21 and 10/5. I can only assume they'll keep the pipeline going given the incredible demand and that part of what gets produced after 9/21 will go to the stack of orders. Then again maybe they want to keep the cachet of being scarce and 10/5 will be another 9/21 where iphones pile up in shipping centers until a magic release code is given. If so I'm definitely going to be lurking near the Apple store to see what stock looks like after the initial rush. My recollection is that they did end up with phones within a week after the initial rush after the 4s came out.
