Technically you can call with the IMEI number before you turn on the phone and do an upgrade swap (option #2 when you call 611). I went ahead and picked up a different sim from the store today that is hopefully correctly associated with my account. Not sure if the store or the phone will be more painful...

Also, from what I hear Verizon just said "No subsidized phone for you loser unlimited plan peeps" so it could be worse. I used to have unlimited but just said whatever when tethering came out since I don't use that much anyway.

My brother on the other hand..... (it helps that I have home internet and he doesn't, but hey)

hmm. I'll have to try calling before I go in then. Maybe if I went in around 2, it won't be too bad...maybe they'll be sold out!? I do have to go in regardless though to ask a few questions, but if I could do that on a different day that'd be even better. Thank you!
But I'm going to try to get some sleep for like 3-4 hours. I've been up since 7am yesterday. :cool:

Night night! Just remember not to activate without calling/switching SIMs as it will kill the other persons phone. And by kill it I just mean deactivate.

I spoke with a rep at ups today and he told me that the "by 10:30 am" is as good of a gaurantee as it usually is with any other package

Has anyone heard any different? Curious
 
Finally got my phone into home town, now to wait for it to be out for delivery. I can sleep easy for a few hours now.

My 10/5 order just went into "preparing for shipment". I'll be perfectly happy with an arrival next week. :)
 
Finally in Columbus, OH at 5:59AM....nothing like waiting until the last second for it to leave Louisville (2AM)
