I'm going to set up as new. I don't like restoring from a backup, and I'll be coming from a 4 (not 4S). It won't be hard to reinstall my apps. I like a cleaner phone anyway.
Has anyone recieved this status? I have two phones headed to me and one states this, after the out for delivery message.

Nope, that's my apartment. If you look closely enough, every once and a while you will see a hummingbird shaped blip as they fly past to the feeder 5 feet to the left of the camera.
So what's the usual process of activating the new iPhone, got my 4 in the AT&T store, do I just turn it on and it activates the new sim itself? Do I need to have my 4 turned off? Will I have to call AT&T? Trying to distract myself from refreshing the UPS page!

1406 woes
Well, while a handful of 1406 numbers received shipping notifications - I still woke up to nothing, despite ordering early in the morning.
And I'm not holding out hope for a mistake -- my last hope was my credit card being charged. My pending charge went away this morning.
Getting up early isn't good enough with AT&T. You also need to be lucky.

Oh I just noticed the two guys washing windows.. Its like waiting I'm waiting for your iphone as well as mine.
Yeah to be honest I think our groundskeepers are way to active in the morning. They are out making every lawn mower and weed trimmer sound they can at 7 or 8AM once a week.
So thianks to all those who were impatient and cancelled - my Oct 5th delivery date has now changed. My phone shipped this morning

You're lucky, I remember when sprint used to make a person keep the phone on the upgraded number for 30days... That was back in the razr days though.
Finally Out For Delivery. Website says by 10:30. My UPS app says between 1:45 and 5:45. Which one is more accurate?? I've got stuff to do today and can't sit around all day waiting on it.
