I just checked my shipment notification from my 5 preorder. I got the email from Apple at 5:55 am EDT on Thursday.
Did it say those hours on the website? Unfortunately if I choose will call the pickup hours are 4:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M.
Better off waiting home for it
Same I was going to pick mine up after my classes end at 11:30 on Friday but pickup hours for me are between 8 and 10.
New Plane Shipment to US?
My UPS tracking says that my package has been departed from China about 3 1/2 hours ago, delivers friday according to UPS! Wonder where it will land in US

So I actually downloaded the UPS app and entered the tracking number I got through reference. It's being shipped overnight from Rialto, Ca. I too live in Ca. So I'm not as worried anymore.
90% of us are still "preparing". Tracking #'s are obtained by being a "My UPS Choice" member (free) or by doing a track by reference number and entering your 10-digit primary phone number for your Apple ID, no punctuation or spaces.
I'm worried now. Says my phone was supposed to have already departed China like 3 hours ago, but when I check the flight it says it has not departed yet. Just that it is "scheduled". That would be my luck that my phone is on the one plane that had problems and wasn't able to depart China on time.
i may be the only one happy about UPS!
the UPS is a stone's throw away from my house... in a rural area. When things ship UPS, they get delivered to our street first (an unspoken courtesy of the drivers). I think I'll switch my delivery to will call though, then I can (hopefully) pick it up at 7:30 on my way to work!!! Anyone ever have luck bribing the guys at the door the night before a launch??? Haha a gal can dream

I'm in Central Cali and I still have no:
UPS Tracking (via reference, MY UPS etc.)
No entry in My Support Profile
Just that it's set to deliver 09/19 from Apple and it's 'Preparing for Shipment'.
Here's to hoping it gets sent out next day air today or tomorrow...
Thank you for posting this. I am in the same boat with one of my orders and it sucks. My delivery date is 9/19, so I'm still holding out hope.

I don't see anywhere on the ups website where the phones and what time they are going to arrive at the ups service place. I want to do a will call but I have to wait until it gets there correct? Both phones are currently in Kentucky.

If you select will call it gives you options of where to pick it up (if there are multiple locations) and it should give you their pickup times before confirming.
Alright now I'm a bit annoyed. It's Wednesday evening and I still can't find my package via UPS or FedEx reference tracking. What's going on?

I remember someone saying that Apple prohibits pick up for their products. Hope that's not the case!
My AT&T iPhone 6 128GB Space Grey moved from Mount Juliet to Nashville to Louisville today. Still on track to receive by Friday and hope nothing stops it from coming to me by the end of Friday.
