Not likely, they usually hold the phones until day of release.

Yeah I figured as much. This same situation last year happened to me and I ended up getting it a day early but I'm sure it was a slip up on their end.

My iPhone 6 just arrived in Anchorage, AK at 5:02PM Local Time.

Same. I'm sure there's some rhyme or reason to how the shipments are determined, but I can't figure it out. I'm in the West and ordered a 6 Plus.

Is there or is there not a possibility that the iPhones from the Anchorage landing will come in early? I thought i read that it is possible they won't be held by Apple because they were the last shipment to come from china for the first wave of pre-orders.

I think UPS is instructed to hold them until the 19th.

Arrived in Anchorage@!@@@@@@@I was on the flight from China that left at 5:15 local time.

Doubt it was on that flight. It was scheduled to arrive into PANC a lot later than when we got our arrival scan. Considering it's ~ 7 hr flight it shouldn't have arrived into PANC already. So the system must have glitched somewhere. And there is no corresponding flight from flightaware arriving into PANC that is close to the 5:02 scan of our phones.

But I am just happy mine is stateside finally. Just waiting a ride now to KSDF.

Mine departed Nashville this evening, presumably en route to STL.

Any other package leaving Nashville tonight would be delivered in St. Louis tomorrow, even if it were ground. Interesting to see if it gets held for a day or falls through the cracks and is delivered early - it's scheduled for Friday delivery still though.

Im in STL too and mine left nashville today and went to Louisville which is were its been sitting since 4:20pm so i assume it will just fly here tomorrow night.

The phones will travel to Louisville late tonight or tomorrow morning then they will go to our city/area then they will be on truck for delivery friday morning but it may be delivered late in the day. I got mine shipped at my job so i may get it early
