The phone left Laurel, MD before noon today and just checked in at Richmond Distribution Center at 222 pm EST today. It's all set to be on the delivery truck in the am....so close but so far away :D

Your phone and my wife's phone are together. My 6+ which I ordered before my wife's phone was with her phone initially then took a weird turn. Out of KY as of about 1pm today.
 
Mine sat in Tennessee, went to Louisville, will most likely go to memphis, then to me in Arkansas... They could've just sent it to me from Tennessee straight to Arkansas but apple just has to test my patience! Happy it's just a day away though!
 
for those interested, here is a list of all airborne ups flight out of Louisville. Again, this is only the ones currently in the air.

doesn't seem like any of the flights are to Hubs near me at all.

Well....lets see how this plays out.

Seems strange -- imagine the other side of the coin where they don't have the one you picked out during the order because someone else switched out their ordered one for your color -- seems a bit unfair esp considering the lack of stock.

I am in the same boat, mine departed Louisville at 2:31 and I am ATL, but the list above doesn't show a flight to ATL, nor have I been able to find one. We shall see.

THat's so strange why they wouldn't keep them all together....I ordered a 6 Plus 64 G Gold. It was in PA the entire time - no shipment from China - made week 35. I think UPS just has their process and routes packages accordingly...maybe your was count wise in a different batch that was going through WorldPort. I was really hoping they would mess up and I'd get it today but no such luck....

Wait till very early AM on Friday. That is when the big flight pushes happen for UPS and FedEx.

Apple has nothing to do with it. Ups has a shipping pattern, that requires items to follow a specific path.

There will be a ton of flights departing later this evening and overnight as well as trucks moving after that. Plenty of time to get anywhere in the states.
 
Sprint telling me iphone 6+ are pushed back

I talked to Sprint's support when my shipping status continues to show in warehouse. According to them that only means it's in the system. They are elling me all iPhone 6 + have been pushed back! Should have went with Verizon.

Anybody here with a 9/19 delivery date from Apple still waiting for a shipping email?

Mine was preparing to ship, then switched *backwards* to *processing items*. No charge on my card and I can't find shipping info with UPS or FedEx...should I be worried?

So I don't want to miss work to wait for the phone, but I would like to know when UPS usually delivers. Do the times change for the launch? Can I expect it to be at my place in the morning?

I ordered my wifes phone first just in case i ran into problems, figured she was a bigger need than my own and if something ran out or went wrong, at least hers would be done. I then ordered mine successfully. Both 64g, regular 6, one SG and one Gold. Once they started processing the orders in Nashville my phone which was ordered 2nd was labeled and ready to ship a full 24 hours before the first one. Then yesterday it went the exact opposite in shipping to the hub, the first order went to Louisville on a flight 6 hours before mine. Experience seems to be though that if Apple has the date on the order, you will get it on that date.

My thing is, there is no UPS info AT ALL, no shipping info AT ALL, No "Ready for UPS" .. just my phone in "Preparing for Shipment" on Apple.com, 9/19 Delivery. That's all. Reference numbers, nothing helped. The difference between my situation and yours is that you actually have seen movement and information on UPS. There is absolutely NO information showing up anywhere for mine. For my phone is supposed to arrive tomorrow according to Apple.com. I'm not going to worry tho. You all said not to. I just find it odd that everyone has received there info or has at least seen tracking information. While I haven't seen anything since Monday's "preparing for shipment" and I ordered my phone through Apple.com on Friday with everyone else.

You'd have to know when UPS usually delivers to your house. My drive usually arrives around 3:30 pm for most deliveries, but he's going to be busier than normal tomorrow.
 
Toronto here, being shipped via UPS.

Package is in Concord, ON. Scanned in at 12:57 p.m. Sept. 18.

Guaranteed delivery by end of day Sept. 19.
