wooohooo finally got my email.....
So my wifes 6+ 16gb just left louisville en route. My mothers 6 is enroute from texas and my 6+ 64gb is ready for pickup at my local apple store. I can now rest easy assuming ill be able to fall asleep tonight lol.

This year apple is expected to make 180 Billion (with a B) in revenue. Shipping costs are not a concern for them. They could buy UPS over lunch if they were so inclined
anyone else notice at the bottom of their pickup emails where it says you can get another color or size config at the store subject to whats available?

Anyone whose phone is going through Rialto had anything past the Ready for UPS?
I got an email today telling me they(AT&T) are still expecting my phone Gold 6+ 64GB to ship on 10/31-11-11. I'm really considering canceling now and trying to buy via apple.
Has any one here tried doing that and choosing the in store pick up for 9/19? I would try that buy I don't want to process a order and then cancel my preorder and then be SOL when I process the apple order. I've never bought via apple so I don't know when it would tell you in the order process if the phone is available for this at a given store for pickup.

I live in in western pa and mine went from Harrisburg to Philadelphia back to Harrisburg and then left Harrisburg a few moments ago. So who knows what they are doing lol. Not worried though.

I would have!!! It's a tiny airport though so I can't picture a big ole UPS or Fedex plane coming through there.
I live 50 miles north of Harrisburg, and my phone was originally in Harrisburg for a few days until today, in which case it departed to Louisville, and now it is probably heading back to Harrisburg.
I was wondering the same thing. Mine still says preparing to ship and still says its on track for delivery tomorrow. I also wonder if it is prepositioned in my state already. Shipping overnight to Hawaii is really expensive but I am sure that does not phase Apple.
Just got the same e-mail. Last year, though, the same thing happened to me but ended up receiving the 5S a month earlier than quoted. At this point, I'm just hoping the same thing happens this year and I get the 6+ towards the end of September instead the end of October.
Mine both left PA last night. One at 4:50 and the other at 6:05. Neither has been scanned since. I'm outside Detroit. Not sure if they will go to Louisville as others have said, or straight to Maumee Ohio, where most of my packages seem to funnel through. I can't wait to get out of work tomorrow night!

The phone left Laurel, MD before noon today and just checked in at Richmond Distribution Center at 222 pm EST today. It's all set to be on the delivery truck in the am....so close but so far away

phone just left Louisville, KY and is on its way to my local UPS. Departure scan 2:26pm. Come to daddy!

I'm thinking I'll do a drive by at a AT&T store or two but I'm not going to try the apple route now.

Krevnik - Yep, it is marked shipped by Apple, and the other one won't ship for 2-3 weeks and it can't be cancelled.
On the shipped one, it specifically tells me it cannot be setup for return online because only credit card or Apple Gift card orders can.
It seems a bit odd to me as I have cancelled items or returned items purchased with Bill Me Later elsewhere.
I hope, should I need to make a return, the phone team would be able to do it. Thanks again for your reply. I'm glad you are interpreting it the way I am.
