Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

So my story starts with Verizon telling me that my upgrade date was 10/13. I kept checking to see if they bumped it. Of course they don't for the presale however they did on monday the 15th and made me upgrade eligible. So I ordered a 6+ SG 64gb but alas I am scheduled for delivery between Oct 14 and Oct 21. I am patient so I will wait but keep checking (maybe not so patient after all) to see if my delivery time bumps up. Hoping it does but not holding my breath. I am happy for all getting their new phones tomorrow and only hope mine shows up early. That is all.

My phone origin scanned in Ontario, CA today and I'm in Los Angeles so it should be here tomorrow. I'm guessing Apple flew a plane load full of iPhones from China to UPS's Asian hub in Ontario and they're using one of the local logistics companies in Ontario to process the shipments.

Idk bout anyone else, but I find the waiting, the posts, etc just all add to the excitement that is in the experience of getting a brand new preorder iphone :D

And on that note:
I got a couple cases in for my new iPhone 6, and put against my current 4s, the screen size is huge. So happy I d get the 6+, it would ve been way too big for my girlie hands.;)

think mine is heading to Orlando as well. Had a 4:24pm Departure Scan from Louisville
 
I ordered at 12:48 am PT, it just changed from 9/19 to 9/25-29....

Sad, but what can you do. I can get mad or just wait for my new phone to come.

I live in Los Angeles, and UPS tracking finally updated for the first time around 10:30 AM. Another poster in LA noticed the same thing for his/her iPhone. UPS shows my package coming from Ontario, which is only 50 miles away. The close proximity explains why there was no tracking into until now. Good luck those people getting phones directly from China. Of course all the phones get made there. ;)
 
My order got bumped to 9/25-29, too. So mad. Called Apple, but there is nothing they can do. Never happened before. Mad, mad, mad.

Well, if they've delayed your shipment, you should be able to call them and get a free case out of it.
 
Checked status online. As of this morning, my 6 Plus 128Gb Silver had 9/19 delivery date, but now it has moved to 9/22 - 9/24 delivery date. Called their CS, nothing they can do. WTF Apple! :mad:
 
I am in Columbus, Ohio and my 128GB iPhone 6 Plus just left Lousiville, KY 10 minutes ago. It came from Harrisburg, PA which is interesting. My 5s last year came directly from China.

I would be pretty bummed if this happened to me. Not the worse thing in the world but if your jacked up about getting your new phone, finding out they day before you get it you may need to wait another week+ would be ******.

i just had the same thing happen. shipping got delayed to 23-25. i woke up at 3am EST and had it ordered by 4am EST. its BS. called apple, they can do NOTHING. meanwhile, i ordered one for my wife on verizon - and hers in the air headed to the house. :mad:

I am in the exact same situation. I ordered an at&t Gold 64gb phone, and it has been pushed to 1-3 day shipping and "should" arrive between Sep 23-Sep 25. I got my order in late, but they "reserved" an iPhone earlier in the day for me since they couldn't communicate with At&t's upgrade system.

I hope they send them out tomorrow and they end up arriving on Monday.
