Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

I asked him specifically if they would cancel the order, he said no. I didn't explicitly ask but he definitely intoned that they had received what they needed from AT&T. In my case I had actually called AT&T about it Monday and had them put a note on my account to make sure Apple wouldn't cancel it because I was afraid of this. Maybe that made a difference. The name he gave was David.

Preordered from apple.com right away on the 12th and, according to my order status, my delivery was all set for 9/19.
My delivery suddenly changed and is now estimated at 23-25 of September.
The FedEx/UPS tracking via phone number trick isn't working for me either.
Guess I got boned.

As in....a lot of "ums", "ers", incomplete sentences, nonsensical explanations, and a general vibe of having no clue what was going on with their processes.
Mine is in Harrisburg PA, soon to be in route to Commerce City then onto truck and then to me in Boulder
You cancelled your ATT order two days before I did so maybe that made the difference. Hope so anyway. Good luck!
I got the same thing... I called apple. delayed....
but after chatting it up with the rep I got two free cases. so nice. one for our 6 coming tomorrow and one for the 6+ that was delayed today for a week. I still love 
Disappointed but not mad. oh and not to mention my dog died today. (my mom passed away last year during the week of the 5s launch) smh... launches are just not good for me...Aaaand I spoke too soon. Literally just got the stupid e-mail from Apple. This is ridiculous.

Based on BeeGood and I's experience, you may want to watch out for the cancellation. Also, that sucks man.

weird.... my 6 says 1.7 lbs.... we did not order a case either... just the phone.

now. I just got an email saying they couldn't confirm my upgrade. Called AT&T and said that it was used and everything look good on their end.Ughhhhhh......
Yeah.... My 6 is still just show "order processed" on UPS. Apple did send shipped email though.
What really irks my is my wife's 6+. Like many of you ordered right at launch (well as soon as we could using the app). Promised 9/19 delivery and then just a few hour ago it changed to "ships in 1-3 days". I may call apple to ask them WTF here in a bit, but sounds like it doesn't matter.
If it really doesn't make it tomorrow, I will be very disappointed in apple. Not really because the wife doesn't get her phone (although disappointing). But the way Apple handled this. No emails sent, no "sorry" nada. Just very un apple like.
