Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

After talking with Verizon and Apple.
My phone will be here between Sept. 23 & 25th.
Smh.
Apple said my phone is in the warehouse being prepared for shipment.
Verizon said everything was clear on their end so they don't know what else Apple needed to "confirm eligibility."
But now Apple said everything is golden and I will see my phone next week.
Next week is better than Mid-october.
My case will just be lonely until next Wednesday. LOL.

I believe all it states is that you must present a government issued photo ID and pick it up within the stated time frame or they'll return to sender.
So.....just to verify. Ordered 6+ 9/12 at 3:20am.
My status hasn't changed from day 1. Delivery date is still 9/19 but it still says processing items,no shipping info, cc hasn't been charged, and I can't find any tracking info on UPS.
Am I crazy, or will I not be receiving my phone tomorrow?

Mine still says this:
A delivery change for this package is in progress. / The receiver arranged to pick up the package at a UPS facility.
But it is now about 20 minutes from my house as of a few minutes ago.
You won't be receiving it. It's bad of Apple to leave you in the dark like that though. Very disappointing.
I just received an email from Apple saying that they could not confirm eligibility with Verizon for my iPhone 6 order!! I have logged into my Verizon account and it shows that I have a 'New device that needs to be activated' and therefore I cannot currently upgrade my phone on the Verizon website. I assume that this new device is my Apple iPhone 6 pre-order. So it seems that the Verizon website knows that I have ordered a new device on my plan that needs to be activated. What the hell is going on Apple!! My order was Preparing for Shipment to be delivered on 9/18. Now it says that my new delivery date is Sept 25 to Sept 29. Anyone run into this problem?
Waiting to speak to someone atnow. I just got an email saying they couldn't confirm my upgrade. Called AT&T and said that it was used and everything look good on their end.

same thing here.... calling them again... been on the phone with ATT and apple all day long. thinking all is good and then hour later get another email saying it is not.

Has anyone ever placed a double order on an iPhone upgrading with a new 2 yr contract and received both phones without one being cancelled? Or has anyone placed double orders on the new iPhones last week and are expecting two phones under the same phone upgrade?

Call Verizon. I did. My date was switched to September 23th - September 25th.
Verizon call tell you, but Apple can also tell you when you call. I just did not to long ago. Yes my date was switched from 9/19 to 9/23 but hey next week is better than November.
Yes, I departed Louisville at 2:30 PM and arrived back in Nashville (where it had been the day before) at 4:00 PM, now it has departed Nashville, it has to make it to Atlanta. I am supposed to pick up at UPS will call tomorrow morning at 8.

My apple order says it will be here on 9-19 and the email I got from Apple says 9-19 which also included my UPS tracking number. When I go to check my status it says
"A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."

Hello Baton Rouge buddy. Glad it's not just me. Are you doing Will Call or are you waiting at home?
I'm on hold with Apple now. I'm pretty sure that I won't be getting my phone tomorrow. I had planned to take the day off from work tomorrow and wait for delivery. Now it looks like I will be going in to work tomorrow after all. Lame!!!
