Picked up my space gray iPhone 6 this afternoon in the Apple store. I love the size of this phone - perfect for me. The screen is awesome. Smooth setup and everything working great so far. It got a little warm during setup but is running cool now. I love the curved edges and the thinness. I think the back with the lines looks fine, but I have an Apple black leather case on it now so it doesn't matter. I looked at the 6 plus in the store and while it is too big for me, it is a gorgeous phone. Hope everyone is happy with their choice.

Finally got home from work and opened my new gold 64gb iPhone 6!!! LOVE IT!!! Absolutely gorgeous phone! Now I just have to wait for everything to sync!
I finally got ours at 7 pm but so tired and stressed out from waiting all day and thinking it wouldn't come that I am not even in the mood right now to activate and play with it lol. I think I will give it a couple hours and then do it. It is big but I love that. I will even take it bigger if they were to make it bigger lol.
Nice! I thought that was pretty nice of Apple to do that. Cant complain about a free case or waiting a few extra days to get my phone. A friend of mine went into the local Verizon store and they only had 10 iPhone 6 Plus and had sold out real quick. Glad I pre ordered online from Apple... My iPhone 6 Plus 128 GB Silver will be here Monday via Fedex!

I can't believe I almost changed my order to a 6 instead of a 6+.
All the posts saying it's gonna be too big were starting to get to me but now that I have the 6+ in my hand...I'm loving every pixel!

I thought the space gray was the best but hands down the gold is the greatest. So happy with my iPhone 6!!!!

I went to one of my local Apple stores at around 8:30pm to pick up a case and people were still waiting in line and they were still selling phones, including 6 Pluses.
iPhone 6 is here but...
I ordered an iPhone 6 in space gray but it looks aluminum. Any one else get the same color? Also I just set it up and it feels very, very warm to the touch.

Since my iPhone hadn't arrived as of 1pm my time (was loaded on the truck at 5:50am), I decided to drive down to the Apple Store to see one in person around 1:30pm. There was still a line of about 40 people waiting to pick up a phone, and they hadn't left and come back later in the day either. Within 30 seconds of using one of the 6 pluses on display, I knew I made the right choice. The look and feel of the phone (I went with Space Grey) is just top notch.
I wasn't impressed with the Apple cases (They look to be too thin to do much), so I drove over to Best Buy, which was also packed in their cellular section. They not only had a ton of cases, but a Zagg InvisiShield Glass for both the 6 and 6+, so I was able to pick those up before heading back home. The UPS guy showed up around 5pm, and said that he had nothing but iPhones in his truck, and it was one of the larger ones). So I'm in the process of completing the restore of my old phone's data to the new one, and can't wait to start using it!!

Were we supposed to use the sim card that came with the 6 or is sim swapping okay? I've been getting random "Your Sim Has Sent A Text Message" alerts since I put my old sim card in but I'm not texting anybody smh.

I got a notification today that UPS missed my neighbor and that another attempt would be made!!! My heart sank.... I guess I'd have to wait till Monday anyways. Not a huge deal. Then...an hour and a half to two hours later I get another notification that UPS attempted a 2nd time and it was successful!! Package signed by my neighbor!!! I've never seen UPS do a 2nd attempt on the SAME day!! So I'll get my phone tomorrow!!

I used an upgrade on another line on our account, then swapped that SIM into my old 5S and put my SIM in the new 6 plus without any issues. Both phones can place/receive calls, send/receive texts, etc. The only odd thing is that iTunes doesn't show the phone number for either one.
I think I might be the only one still on here that didn't get their phone today. Mad but a lesson learned. NEVER order anything from AT&T. Congrats to all that are playing with their phones.
Got mine earlier, set up when I got home from work. All good with the restore from backup, carrier hookup, etc. Astounded with the quality, very, very happy.

Finally got it! iPhone 6+ is beautiful. Gold color looks great. Updating with parts of my 5s memory. It is big, it does require a different grip, but it is so cool, I'm glad I went 6 plus. Thanks for all the posts and updates. In the end I got a little tracking fix by following the last 2 planes my phone was on. Great packaging. Really happy customer at this point.

Just got one (the 6) of two (the 6+).... There was a hiccup on my other one ... to be delivered Monday. So I opened it and it was a little slippery, almost dropped it. Cases were free from apple (due to the hiccup) and will be glad to get them. See you all next year! It has been fun as always!
yes, you can, I did it on launch night on the app, there was an area in blue that said upgrade here that you click it then takes you to next
I would imagine it would be easier on apple.com but that was not an option on 9.12 as site was down - perhaps clear your web history, do a good o'l shut down + restart - perhaps that will help but plenty of people here did it so if not on Mac then do on apple app
