Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Sorry, I posted in the wrong thread. Thought this was the AT&T thread. Sorry!
T-Mobile (unlocked) 128GB Silver 6+, ordered at 4:30 PDT. Initial estimate was "Available to ship: 7-10 business days, Oct 1 - Oct 6 delivery." It just flipped from "Processing Items" to "Preparing for Shipment." Not showing up on my Apple Support Profile yet.
6 plus 128gb in silver (AT&T), ordered on 9/12 at 12:40 am pacific, originally scheduled for 10/1-6 delivery, last night it changed to "shipped" with 9/29 delivery date. This morning, it shows delivery on 9/25. Yay!

Should I cancel Apple Pre-Order ?
I pre-ordered a little later in the day from Apple.
iPhone 6 Plus 64GB with AT&T service.
Mine says 3-4 weeks to ship since ordering.
Any chance I can go to Apple store or AT&T store and get one right away?
Or should I just be patient?

Anybody know when otterbox cases will be available for iphone 6 plus?
I signed up for notification for the symmetry and commuter cases, but just wondering if anyone has an idea when there going to be available.

Maybe if it is still in process you should check with your local AT&T stores or retailer who sells those to see if they have your desired phone in stock and if so cancel and go ahead and just go buy and pick up. Otherwise you may have to wait a few days at the least. JMO

edit: looked at other threads and tons of people have confirmed the contract free tmob iphone 6 is unlocked. I got one on its way just trying to ease my tension

The 6+ is SOOO POPULAR! Just left the Apple Store in a local mall in Maryland, it was packed inside and long lines outside. Everyone inside was checking out the 6+. I should have been patient and kept my 6+ order, it's the perfect size for me. But I'm still super happy with my 6 gold

Check out the store near you and see what they have stock. If they do then cancel your order and buy that phone but you have cancel before your order goes to preparing for shipment.

Just got back from my local apple store in New Orleans. Was able to cancel my order with Verizon, and get a silver iphone 6 64gb by simply buying from my phone and having them hand it to me. Took a bit for them to see me. Over all it was a pleasant experience. As it gave me time to play with all the toys there. I was tempted by the 6 plus. But now that i have used the phone for a bit. I feel it is plenty big for me. And i turned on the zoom feature. So i am good. Good luck to everyone else who is ordering a phone. It was fun. See you again in a few years!
I know this is just me being lazy and not wanting to look through this whole thread to find the answer but can anyone PLEASE help me and tell me how to track my phone through that flightaware site? I'm expecting my 6+ SG 64GB on the 25th and would like to track it through the air

Just knowing the location it is currently at overseas or in Alaska you can track the courier jets path to U.S. mainland.
I had a delivery date of September 19th with it changing that morning to this upcoming Tuesday. Now I get this email tonight. Unbelievable. I never have this issue when Apple ships with FedEx to this same address.
I ordered my iPhone 6 plus on Sept. 13 and got shipping estimate of October 14-21.

Absolutely. Numerous people who are in the oct1-oct6 wave started receiving, and have continued to receive, their phones starting Thur/Fri last week, continuing into today. I'd say that bodes well for you. I'm in the oct1-oct6 wave, 6+ 64GB SG ATT

Anyone know if your upgrade becomes available immediately if you try this? If I saw it in store, I'd click cancel on Apple's site. But I'm scared the upgrade wouldn't rollback right away.
So, I made the mistake of preordering at target ... And guess what never showed up? My iphone ..
Anyways, I am thinking about ordering a 6+ SLV 128GB (att) and having it shipped vs the daily game of trying to find stock at a local store. The website is atating 3-4 weeks at this point.
Is that a pretty accurate estimate? I've talked to some that say Apple usually delievers much faster than estimated.
