still impatiently waiting
new member here, just wanted to join in all the frustration since it appears I'm not the only one who feels a little screwed over by all this nonsense. also these forums have been a tremendous help, thank you to everyone.
ordered a 64gb SG 6+ via the apple store app (AT&T is my provider, unfortunately) on 9/12 around 5:00pm EST, expected delivery dates b/w oct 13 and oct 20, order still processing with no tracking number or any shipping information whatsoever. I realize that I was late in placing the order, but waking up at 5:30am for work doesn't exactly make staying up till 3am waiting for apples servers an easy task. not to mention waiting in line at a store is pretty much out of the question.
have tried pretty much all of the methods mentioned in forums all over the internet, hoping that maybe, just maybe, someone at apple forgot to send me an email and my phone is on the way, but it seems my efforts have failed
although I am not surprised by any of this, I can't help but feel a strong sense of frustration toward the fact that many people can simply wake up early, go to an apple store and get the exact phone that I ordered 11 days ago.
after calling apple directly, and after calling several stores in my area, AND after checking apples website for the past 48 straight hours, i have decided that waiting a month is my only option to get the phone that I want
if anyone has any information to offer regarding this, or if any of you (and i know many probably are) are in the same boat, please feel free to share. i will be on macrumors until the phone comes in and will gladly keep updating my status until then!
