Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

What time did you order? What phone and carrier?

My order was finished 50 minutes after Apple's website was open for preorders.
I'm not using any carrier to buy it. It's the unlocked phone at full price.
And something I forgot to mention that probably changes things.
I'm not based in the States but in Germany.

Just received this email from UPS. Ordered on 9/15 with an original shipping estimate of Oct 1st-6th, which later got bumped up to 9/25. Couple days ago however UPS tracking page said it was delayed and arrive by 9/26. Look's like this just about confirms my iPhone 6 64 GB Space Gray will actually arrive 9/25. Note: tracking page has not updated to reflect this yet.

Just hope I'll be able to come home in time from school to pick it up. Will try will call if that fails. Any one else with experience with that? Do we just need some form of government issued ID to pick up?

I was one of the unlucky who pre-ordered with att and then got cancelled for some wack reason.

Then turned to Apple for pre-order with shipment with AT&T next. Successful. Saturday after launch day - my 6+ gold 64gb was available for pick up.. Cancelled my shipping order.. Only to come to find that you can not pre order with pick up with AT&T Next. Now I'm waiting for my shipment. Oct 21-28

SAME EXACT THING HERE BRO!!! UGHH ssoooo annoyed! As F'ed up as ATT's preorder was, if i'd stuck with it, probably would have had my phone by now or by the end of this week! This iPhone is clouding my judgement!!

I made my order at 5:30 am CT on 9/12 and my iPhone has left Louisville and arrived in Big D a couple of hours ago and left there about 30 minutes ago, with expected delivery tomorrow.

Now out for delivery in Okc #

Departed Louisville at 4:45pm # cant what for tomorrow. If there is a defect to cause the iphone 2 bend under normal conditions I think apple will correct the issue and do what it needs to do to satisfy customers.

It's not a defect, the iphone 5 bent as well. Any piece of metal that large will bend under force. The video I saw had the guy holding both ends and reefing with his hands to bend it. Of course it would bend, anyone getting a 5.5 inch phone knows it doesn't pocket well, but is trading that off with a much nicer screen (imho). When I had a note it was taken out of my pocket whenever I sat, it's not a 4 inch phone anymore.... kinda the point.

Oh wow!!!! Ok, after seeing that video it definitely changes my view. I played with the 6+ at a T-mobile store and love it too much to switch to the 6. I'll just make sure to not place the phone in pocket (will most likely stay in my diaper bag) and no tight jeans (which won't be a problem since I'm pregnant again) LOL

Now check out this page It's hype, of course you don't want to pocket a phone that size and get up and down, take it out first...that being said, this is a very sad page

Good lord, that Galaxy Note 4 has a 5.7" display?? I can't even imagine lugging that thing around, yes its .2" more that the iP+, but still!

My wifes phone is an xperia z ultra, it is 6.3 inches. When it broke (water damage, not through the ports but through the seal on the phone...even though it was waterproof...and sony charged us for it....ugh)...anyways, when it broke I had to bring it to the store to be shipped back, could find a place to carry it, no pocket would hold that bad boy, not even my jacket, kept sticking out of the pockets so they wouldn't do up!

Ordered 4 6's for family, 3 SG, 1 gold, all 64GB.

The 3 SGs arriving thursday (tomorrow) 9/25 and the gold arriving friday 9/26. All ordered at the same time, so the gold is ever so slightly harder to come by I guess.

I preordered on the 12th. It moved to preparing for shipment and then shipped on the same day, 9/19. I'm expecting deliver tomorrow 9/25.

Got burned by UPS yesterday, said delivery by 12 noon yet it wasn't even in the right city, called at 1:30pm to see if they had any other info. Was told the package hasn't made it to our local distro center so it wouldn't be delivered that day. The page said all day long it would be delivered that day in spite of all that.

Not really that impatient, but since the page said it would be delivered I arranged to work at home to accept the package, can't really trust them apparently.

Wait, what time did you order the 15th? I ordered the Same day.

Yes, you need a Goverment ID if you chose to pick it up. I'm a MyChoice subscriber so it works out for me.

A couple of days. I ordered on the 17th and they didn't charge my card until last night. It will be in "preparing to ship" today and then I should get it no later than this day next week she said. That would be a good week before their promised date.

same issue here! Mine arrived in KY 9/23 1:56am and not a scan since. It has been set for delivery from the start for Thursday but I am shocked nothing occured on the order all day yesterday. I would assume they will get their import scans today and ship out from KY to deliver overnite tomorrow.
