Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

I ordered on 9/12 at about 6:30am EST.

iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Gray (GSM)

I still have:

"Preparing for Shipment Available to ship: 3 - 4 weeks
Delivers: Oct 13 - Oct 20 by Standard Shipping
Not eligible to cancel or return"

Charge for full amount is still pending on my credit card.

I am coming up on 48 hours since my notification on the Apple site changed to "Preparing for Shipment".

Will it ever ship?:mad:

Switched from preparing to ship to shipping this morning.

I'm pretty much the same as this except I ordered the tmobile version. Shipped this morning with oct 6 date as per apple but I'm sure ups will deliver earlier once they update the tracking info!
 
Ranting about the struggle that is the iphone 6 last night to my wife, who couldn't care less about the iphone 6, she says to me; "You know that phone was probably made by some 12 year old Chinese kid". To which I replied, "As long has he/she does a good job, i don't really care". She just rolled her eyes.

Now there is 1st world American Capitalism at it's finest. lol

I'm with you both. I ordered a 64GB AT&T Gold 6+ on 9/20 at 2PM PDT. I'm kicking myself for not ordering when my husband did on 9/12 at 3AM ... he of course received his 6+ on Wednesday (a week earlier then Apple estimated). There's hope that we'll also receive it at least a week early.

- Order on 9/22
- Original dates 10/21-10/28
- 9/25 CC was charged and status changed to "preparing for shipment
- Nothing at UPS track by reference yet
 
UPS just updated my tracking info. Oct 1! So since my card was charged 24 hours ago I got an email from apple stating my order shipped and the UPS tracking page has been updating rather quickly.
 
Finally shipped and confirmation from UPS for delivery 10/1. I need my new phone asap!! Tired of my Samsung Galaxy S3. Glad I waited to upgrade and didn't get the S4 or S5.
 
I ordered a 128GB 6+ gold on 9-14. Just before midnight last night, my credit card was charged. Checked the Apple site and status is changed to preparing to ship. Estimated date of delivery remains as the original date - 10-14 to 10-21 (3-4 weeks). I've checked the support area and still no info for a 6+. I've tried tracking on UPS by my phone number with no success. I also have UPS My Choice and it has no info on a shipment yet.

But, I'm psyched because I believe it will be here sometime before the end of next week, well ahead of the estimated date. Yeah, Apple!!! :D
 
What is everyone entering on UPS for the reference? Just the phone number or are you also entering zip, destination country, etc.?
 
I'm glad to see some people in other countries will get there phone before me. This is really bad business.

I preordered a regular 6 on the 12th through Apple (ATT) but on the 13th I changed my mind and cancelled the 6 and preordered a Plus through ATT (because Apple wouldn't let me order, saying I wasn't eligable for uograde). So my expected ship date was like Nov 7-19 or something like that. On Sept. 23rd my wife ordered her Plus and got expected ship date Oct 20-29th. I was pissed! So I called ATT and cancelled my order and then reordered through Apple and got the Oct. 20-29ty ship date.

I'm so annoyed with Apple im seriously considering canceling the Plus all together and preordering a Note 4!! I'll probably get the Note 4 before I'd get the damn Plus. Also get 14 days to try it out anyways so if I don't like it I'll go trade it for a Plus or regular 6.

Stores are supposed to have the Note 4 on display today, headed to check it out.
 
Ah, nice to see someone with my date range (Oct 14-21) with some movement on their order. I ordered 6+ 64 gold AT&T at 5 pm Sep 13, and saw the comment here that reported that configuration as the most popular, so I'm expecting to wait a little longer. But, it's finally getting to my area in the queue!
