The only Chinese holiday I see is "National Day" on Wednesday, October 1st. With all these pre-orders still needing to be fulfilled, I hope they have some employees interested in holiday pay, overtime pay, whatever they call it over there! Get these orders moving, holiday or no holiday. That may sound a bit harsh, but my god, keep it moving
This is from 2012, so I don't think there will be any stoppage!!
China Labor Watch said the Foxconn workers were required to work during the eight-day holiday from Sept. 30 to Oct. 7 to meet the production demand of iPhone 5.
Foxconn said its employees in China who worked during the holiday did so voluntarily and were being paid three times their normal pay, in accordance with Chinese labor law.

YES! Mine is in the same status, sitting in China, it seems for several days. I show a 10/2 delivery date on UPS tracking. Not sure how realistic that is, but I'm hopeful as I have a road trip that weekend.
I'm not usually impatient, but it seems that is not the case this week.

I ordered on the 19th. I got a 6+ 128gb in gold. Also used att next throught the Apple Store app. I'm still in processing. I have no pending or hold charges. Im not sure if it's with a corporate account but we get a discount for my husbands job.
Finally got a delivery date...October 2nd.

I am really surprised Apple isn't continuing to ship in bulk to the US and redistributing it. My 6+ originated from Nashville before going to Louisville and then final destination. Doesn't make sense to ship millions of phones individually unless they are getting one heck of a discount from UPS/FedEx.
I'm hoping I get mine before the 3rd of October because I'll be off on vacation then! Supposedly I'll have it tomorrow but UPS already pushed the delivery from today to tomorrow so until I have it in my hands I expect everything that can go wrong to go wrong!
They are shipping in bulk and distributing in the states, apple is just taking advantage of UPS's freight plans, they are making UPS ship in bulk and make them distribute it, this is way faster and less time consuming.

I'm still in Shanghai also. My wife's phone which I ordered right after mine is in Louisville. Go figure. We both have same delivery date of 10/2/14 but phones are miles apart. Not worried. Ups knows what they're doing and I expect my phone on that date if not sooner.

So, stuck in China for a few days now (9/25 was 9/24 on this side of the international date line). I suspect it will start moving now that we're through the weekend. In any case, it's no biggie-- this fits the definition of small stuff in my book so not worth sweating. As an aside, it's been a good opportunity to teach my 8 year old some geography-- he's also learning about time zones and the international date line.

The very first estimate was 13-20 October.

I'm wondering if this (early deliveries) too will be the case for the orders in countries that launched the iPhone on the 26th of September.
We all got the "ready to ship in 5-7 businessdays" from the start of the online sales.
Only time will tell Waiting is hard. Except on delivery day.

Ordered 2 iPhone 6 plus' (1 SG 64 and 1 GOLD 64) on September 19th around 9:00 am EST through Apple! Estimated delivery given was October 22-27th. I haven't seen any movement yet, which is expected! Anyone on this thread have the same estimated delivery time?
Ours are still in China as well. Got really excited last week to have our status moved to 'shipped' but there has been no movement since then.
Also had a delivery date of this coming Thursday but like others, am now getting a tad nervous that both phones are still in China (ZhengZhou.)
