nope, this is also happening to my amazon packages, which means this is actually a server problem

Well nvm then :).

My phone is in KY and I live in Texas, but they're still saying it will be here on the 2nd. I'm hoping it'll get here sooner.

And the worst part it that my sister went to tomobile to order her iPhone 6 and it is getting here on Monday ! Lmao

Ordered Sept 12th at 5pm CST.
Oct 13-20 estimated. STILL processing.

AT&T 6+ 64gb Space Gray

What gives?? People with later estimates are shipping, I'm seriously pissed.

yeah there is no order to this fake pre order

Just some miscellaneous thoughts...

I use UPS My Choice and it knew about the shipment information before I had any way to search via a tracking or reference number.

Mine was upgraded to UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping and when I looked that up, it said usual delivery is 2-3 business days to US from specific places worldwide.

Speaking as someone who has ordered various things from Apple in the past, I think the status and scans are not accurate much of the time...my point is - that when it seems like something is sitting in Shanghai for days, it isn't necessarily so. Mine has said its in Shanghai since 09-27 at 9:25 pm.

My estimated delivery date was 10-01 but then changed to 10-02. I'm still very happy that it will arrive almost two weeks before Apple's first guesstimate.

I really hope that this is some kind of glitch, because right now I'm beyond pissed.

This is my tracking:

09/25/2014 7:22 P.M. Origin Scan

09/25/2014 11:56 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

It was showing a delivery date of 10/01, with a bit more of info, but yesterday everything resetted and my delivery date got pushed to 10/02.

I don't care about the 10/02 delivery date, but the phone hasn't moved at all these days.

I can understand that. But a couple posts before mine, you can see some tracking info of packages that were processed a couple days later, and have already departed Alaska.

In Louisville...now waiting for it to come to CA...

Here is the latest...in Louisville...Rescheduled Delivery is 10/02/2014 By End of Day and Service Level is UPS Worldwide Expedited......Can it really take four days to get to CA???

Holy s--+! I know the pain I ordered the same model/carrier on 9/12, finalize the "reservation" around 10am. There has to be a serious run on this model.

I did have the Oct-1-6 delivery date. But many of those in that timeframe were shipped on the 18th...orders placed hours later then mine...except the Plus 64GB, ATT in Space Gray. I wasn't the only one..it just sat in processing, seemed like a damn eternity...I questioned if ATT was holding this up because I wasn't seeing the trend with those on Verizon or other carriers.

Check later today..If you were like me, you are checking it 50-60+ times a day.

The bright side is you still may get this early. Suddenly 4am LAST Sunday it finally changed to "Prepping for shipment" - card charged. Around 2am ET last Monday morning email came in, the phone was "Shipped" with the tracking number.

And even though the Apple page said "Arrival Friday,September 26," UPS had it for the Wednesday the 24th. (I was pretty skeptical about that, didn't think that was possible..especially tracking it. Leaving Zhengzhou to Shanghai, then back to Zhengzhou for some reason..finally to Alaska) Anyway it was "Out For Delivery" at 7:26am on the 24th and arrived at 4:52pm.

Hope the order updates ASAP, It is mentally draining, I was going insane with frustration. You may even be tempted to cancel the order and just head to an Apple Store (if there is one near you) Do NOT do that...many of the stores do not have the Plus in stock. The ATT store, don't bother they claim they wont get them in until the beginning of November - at the earliest.

I think it goes by ground from here, you could search for ups ground map to see the time taken from different state to reach your place. (look for Kentucky to ur place)

It seems most of us have their orders clubbed by UPS while shipping from China. My delivery date got shifted to 10/02 EOD and status is still ORDER PROCESSED: READY FOR UPS.

My did not change for the last three days, but I am assuming(and hoping) it would start moving this monday. The scheduled date for me was 2nd from the beginning.

Louisville is UPS' main hub. From there it usually flies to the destination city. If you don't live in a major city but rather a medium-sized city (like I do) AND UPS has extra time, they will fly it to the closest major city and then drive it to the destination city from there -- thereby cutting down on their costs and also getting it to you on time.

Good to know, but then, y would it take 4 days from KY, to other places unless they are not going by ground? It should take like two days at max if they r going on flights.

Hey guys,

Well my iPhone+ 64gb has gone through and tracking says delivery Monday.

I've gone through it all, multiple charges.

Here is a copy and past of an article I did of my experience the first week - I never updated the second week. ATT is lucky I haven't been able to get a phone with version or I would of bailed

Full copy and paste.

APPLE BROKE RECORDS YET AGAIN ON FRIDAY WITH 4 MILLION PREORDERS IN 24 HOURS. DID THIS EFFECT YOUR IPHONE 6+ PRE-ORDERS? IT SURE DID FOR US.
Apple Store Preorder
ATT iPhone Preorder
Verizon iPhone Preorder
T-Mobile iPhone Preorder
Sprint iPhone Preorder
We like most were waiting for the Apple store to go live Friday night at midnight after an hour of waiting we decided to go ahead and pre-order through ATT's site after a bit of trouble we got through.

I wish it was over then and there, however like the energizer bunny the problems just kept going and going. Every morning I kept waking to an issue and hoping my dates were not getting pushed back. To this date, I’ve put in a good 8-10hours over the phone with ATT not counting hold hours. I’ve had every iPhone since the original launch and have pre-ordered multiple times and have also stood in line twice.

YOU'RE NOT A REAL APPLE FAN BOY UNTIL YOU HAVE GONE THROUGH YOUR INITIATION PROCESS.

FRIDAY NIGHT:

Apple store: didn’t come online till 2:45am PST
Apple Store App: was up and down, some people got their orders in
ATT: I believe were getting flooded because Apple store was down however they seemed to have their own issues. Some were able to get through without any issues. However, to me it seemed to have something to do with ATT eligibility. The service that checked eligibility was very unstable flopping back and forth.
Email: Many people were not getting confirmation emails of their preorders and left in limbo.

SATURDAY:

Morning Email: received an email from ATT saying basically they could not charge my card. I called my bank (USBank) and found out this transaction was reported as fraud. I cleared this up and got back on the phone with ATT. After a few hours of trying and messages like “Due to technical difficulties call back later” which is very disconcerting to hear for a time sensitive matter. At this point I spoke with customer support and they indicated that it would just automatically charge again and would be fine.

SUNDAY:

Morning Email: Once again received an email saying the same things as Saturday. Got on the phone with my bank again to find it was declared as fraud again. Cleared this up with USbank and got on hold for another solid hour plus waiting for ATT. This gave me some time to search through twitter for other people with the same issue. I found that many people were having the exact same issues with their transaction being flagged as fraudulent.
ATT on the phone: So finally got through and was working with a very nice woman Jamie who knew what she was talking about. Things seemed to go well we were manually pushing the orders through so I wouldn’t be worrying if this was going to happen again. First order went through fine
And then we hit a bump: Tried to push the second order thought and ran into the wall saying insufficient funds, which shouldn’t be the case their was clearly over 1000 dollars in their. So I asked whether she would stay here with me while I get USbank on the phone as well.
Both ATT & USbank on phone: I thought wow I got another knowledgable lady now from USbank as well this is going to be a breeze (Jasmine). So after a little back and forth it seems this order shows it being charged on USbank side but ATT does not see this on their screens. This is the reason why it showed insufficient funds because she was trying to push a third order through. Ok at this point their wasn’t much we can do.
Not much we can do: So at this point I wondered what our options are neither had any ideas. I suggested can we cancel that charge and push it through again? Which was fine, but another issue took shape. Neither of them can call out and due to a bank requirement to talk to the seller this wasn’t going to happen. I then suggested that I put them both on speaker phone.
Speaker Phone with ATT and Usbank: Well after doing all this we find out Usbank needs an authorization code to cancel this order and since ATT doesn’t see the order as processed so there was no code and became a bust.
Only option: At this point the only thing I could do was to use another card and dispute the other transaction with the bank later. With that said new card went through fine without any issues. However, now I have a third charge in limbo for $479 that I will have to dispute which could take a week or more to see that money back. So now I have over $1300 bucks tied up in the preOrder and many hours on the phone.
Checking Shipping times: So at this point I again point out I am doing all this so my shipping date does not get pushed out further. At this point, I had a floor manager on the phone by the name of Diana who confirmed that my dates are still looking good. I took this time to ask her some additional questions.
Floor manager questions: Does ATT have the iPhone's or do they have to wait on batches from Apple? She stated all iPhone's with shipping dates to November they have in their warehouse. She also stated their warehouse workers will most likely be working through the weekends to get us our phones as fast as possible. I then asked are shipping dates like 14-21days include weekends? She stated that its business days however again our warehouse personnel will be working though weekends.

MONDAY:
ATT Support at 866.267.4510 from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. ET daily.
ATT Support at 866.267.4510 from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. ET daily.
Status Page: Ok so decided to check my shipment status though ATT's status page. Bringing bad news for a 3rd morning in a row. I noticed 2 things have changed. First my order date changed from 12th to the 15th and my shipping dates are now out in November.
Calling ATT again: Ok once again calling ATT. This time by the sound of it I seemed to get someone who was new. But I had her check her screens and it seems all the information is correct there and that ATT's status page is wrong. Which was a relief, made me wonder how many other people were about have have this issue today.
Shipping don’t worry: The ATT customer support lady said not to worry about the shipping status as its there just to give us reinsurance. I told her it’s doing the opposite for me. She said go by the tracking number once you received it in say 24-48 hours.
Argument: So I raised an argument with her so if these shipping dates are fake and I need to wait to get a real tracking number to verify my shipping, wouldn’t it already be too late to do anything about it and even cancel. I made the point Verizon currently would guarantee a ship date of Sept 28th this late in the game. She kind agreed without saying anything.

TUESDAY:

Status Page: Ok seems the stats page is back to the real order date of the 12 and showing a ship date of 10/13/14 - 10/22/14. Now again I’m told to ignore this date and wait for tracking info. Still no tracking

WEDNESDAY:

Tracking: Still no tracking and show same info as Tuesday

ROUND UP
I preOrdered 2 64gb iPhone 6 plus’s though ATT
I spent over 10hours on the phone
Had to get both ATT and USbank on the same call
I have an additional $476 dollars that I need to dispute
I will not have my phones on the 19th
P.S keep in mind ATT still has a $40 per phone upgrade charge..

WORST IPHONE PRE-ORDER EVER. PERSONALLY I HOPE YOUR EXPERIENCES HAVE BEEN BETTER. PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT AND SHARE THEM BELOW, THE GOOD OR BAD.

With all that being said my ship date turned out to be about 2 weeks earlier. I wish you guys luck

Good to know, but then, y would it take 4 days from KY, to other places unless they are not going by ground? It should take like two days at max if they r going on flights.

You're right about that. To answer your questions, if it takes four days to get from KY to Chicago, it's most likely that UPS is letting it sit at one of their hubs. Like yours may go through the hub in Indianapolis and spend a day there before getting to Chicago.

For those farther away, UPS may use a combination of flights and driving. It is very likely that an LA-bound phone already in Louisville will sit in Louisville for a couple of days before departing the night prior to delivery. But, for a North Dakota-bound phone already in Louisville UPS would likely fly it to Minneapolis and then take a couple days to truck it farther north.

It all depends on the destination and how much time they have to get it there on time. For example, my 6+ is still sitting in Shanghai and I'm in North Dakota. Once it gets stateside to the UPS hub in Louisville I am almost certain they will put it on a plane and send it directly to ND. They won't waste time sending it to Minneapolis and then putting it on a truck up here.

Bottom line, they will generally take their time if they don't have to rush because rushing costs them extra. That said, I've been pleasantly surprised before -- they have delivered a day ahead of schedule. There is hope! Just don't worry if it doesn't leave Louisville until 2am the day of delivery. That is normal and it WILL get to you on time :)

iPhone orders languishing in China

I think the date we all have to worry about is October 1. Looks like the weeklong National Day festivities start then. http://www.travelchinaguide.com/essential/public-holiday.htm

So if our phones are on a plane out of China on the 29th or 30th - we're good to go, otherwise, a whole lot of us will be mightily unhappy and grumpy. As anything after 12 noon ET will already be the 1st in China, we had better hope for departures tomorrow or early Tuesday.

Also, I suspect UPS has a hugs build up of phones trying to get out of China by the time the holiday begins - I suspect that's the reason there are the seemingly long-dated delivery dates. They want to get them out of China, so quick stop in Alaska to clear Customs - and then onto various hub airports in the US. I don't think Louisville is the only big hub. It seems to me that something I was tracking (iPad2 or iPhone 4S or 5S) went to Nashville and then somehow made it to me hours later. (I'm in Washington DC).

Once they're on US soil in some hub airport, UPS may require a day or two to deliver.

Lets hope so. I'm sure the Chinese holiday is already built into their delivery estimates. If it says you'll get it on the 2nd then you'll get it then and it'll be out of China before the holiday. It makes sense to go through Alaska -- China is a long ways from Louisville.

Also, the reason your item went to Nashville is because it was on a FedEx plane. FedEx's main hub is in Nashville. But, believe me, any phone being delivered by UPS in the lower 48 will go through Louisville first. It seems ridiculous, especially if you live in like Washington state or something like that, but it's the most efficient way. In case you didn't know (and I'm not trying to sound condescending), it's called the Hub and Spoke model. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spoke-hub_distribution_paradigm
