Thank goodness, I was worried the plane got off track and flew over Russian airspace.
I don't think they want to be invaded by a bunch of angry iPhone fans

Still stuck in ZhengZhou, China, but the Oct 2 delivery date has not changed.
Ordered Sept 12th at 5pm CST.
Oct 13-20 estimated. STILL processing.
AT&T 6+ 64gb Space Gray
What gives?? People with later estimates are shipping, I'm seriously pissed.
Expect delays since it is a holiday over thereJust some miscellaneous thoughts...
I use UPS My Choice and it knew about the shipment information before I had any way to search via a tracking or reference number.
Mine was upgraded to UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping and when I looked that up, it said usual delivery is 2-3 business days to US from specific places worldwide.
Speaking as someone who has ordered various things from Apple in the past, I think the status and scans are not accurate much of the time...my point is - that when it seems like something is sitting in Shanghai for days, it isn't necessarily so. Mine has said its in Shanghai since 09-27 at 9:25 pm.
My estimated delivery date was 10-01 but then changed to 10-02. I'm still very happy that it will arrive almost two weeks before Apple's first guesstimate.
I really hope that this is some king of glitch, because right now I'm beyond pissed.
This is my tracking:

It was showing a delivery date of 10/01, with a bit more of info, but yesterday everything resetted and my delivery date got pushed to 10/02.
I don't care about the 10/02 delivery date, but the phone hasn't moved at all all these days.
Expect delays since it is a holiday over there

It seems most of us have their orders clubbed by UPS while shipping from China. My delivery date got shifted to 10/02 EOD and status is still ORDER PROCESSED: READY FOR UPS.![]()
I think it goes by ground from here, you could search for ups ground map to see the time taken from different state to reach your place. (look for Kentucky to ur place)
Louisville is UPS' main hub. From there it usually flies to the destination city. If you don't live in a major city but rather a medium-sized city (like I do) AND UPS has extra time, they will fly it to the closest major city and then drive it to the destination city from there -- thereby cutting down on their costs and also getting it to you on time.
Good to know, but then, y would it take 4 days from KY, to other places unless they are not going by ground? It should take like two days at max if they r going on flights.
I think the date we all have to worry about is October 1. Looks like the weeklong National Day festivities start then. http://www.travelchinaguide.com/essential/public-holiday.htm
So if our phones are on a plane out of China on the 29th or 30th - we're good to go, otherwise, a whole lot of us will be mightily unhappy and grumpy. As anything after 12 noon ET will already be the 1st in China, we had better hope for departures tomorrow or early Tuesday.
Also, I suspect UPS has a hugs build up of phones trying to get out of China by the time the holiday begins - I suspect that's the reason there are the seemingly long-dated delivery dates. They want to get them out of China, so quick stop in Alaska to clear Customs - and then onto various hub airports in the US. I don't think Louisville is the only big hub. It seems to me that something I was tracking (iPad2 or iPhone 4S or 5S) went to Nashville and then somehow made it to me hours later. (I'm in Washington DC).
Once they're on US soil in some hub airport, UPS may require a day or two to deliver.
