Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Do you just keep hitting "Replace this iPhone" until a date shows up instead of "currently unavailable?"
 
I ordered though the iPad app. Completed at 2:36 am after some long wait times and errors. Apple Store is still down via Safari.
 
Can someone who successfully ordered from Apple please give some more details on what EXACTLY happened? Did you have to keep force closing the app? Did it say "currently unavailable?" What time zone and carrier are you? How did you refresh exactly? Details please
 
The app gets as far as the screen that would let you add to your cart except the box is greyed out. On the website the store is still not open. How the hell are some people getting their orders in or are those folks just a bunch of liars?
 
Finally ordered through apple app on my iphone! The "replace this phone" button didn't work so I clicked on "replace another phone" but put my own number in.
 
Crazy...

I was able to do my first order for iPhone 6+ 64 GB no problem and got my email.

Then when trying to do the wife's iPhone 6 order most were already unavailable. Finally was able to get one for 64 GB on one of the three devices I was trying to do it on.

The whole one pre-order per order threw me off at first.

Also the Apple store app is the secret weapon for doing this. Always go through first. Learned this when ordering the iPhone 5.
 
I got mine (64GB silver 6+) ordered at 3:20am EDT, here in Canada, through the app. Says delivery is between Sept 19 and Sept 23 (!?)
 
I guess "Ships on 19th" really is the date it's going to ship by, because I just got an email confirmation and it says that it delivers between 1-6 October. 🙁

EDIT: Oh, I see. Between when I clicked "Continue" where it said ships by 9/19 and when I was actually able to get my order processed, it changes to 7-10 business days. Lame.
 
Kept getting error message saying they would need to remove the phone from my cart but it was still sitting there and I was able to choose my NYC store as a pick-up site and entered my security code and boom, got the email confirmation as well as a ping from my AMEX saying there was a $1 charge from Apple. 128GB iPhone 6 ordered...I swear though, if the 6+ went through, I would have been fine.

Used the iPad app store...iPhone wasn't loading.
