Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Louisville is the biggest, and this page only shows flights to Louisville. They do have other hubs but I'm not sure. I should point out I'm not well versed in aviation matters, just tracking my phone and paying attention to the thread which led me to Flightaware

All of the flights being tracked are coming from China, Korea, etc...to Anchorage...then many daily flights from Anchorage to Louisville...don't see any flights to other UPS hubs in the US. Many of us have been sitting in Louisville since Sunday AM waiting for distribution to outlying areas...still holding out hope for the 10/2 delivery date...

... most people have been 'processing' for a couple weeks. especially people who ordered after 9/12. calling them isn't going to produce iPhones faster.

I originally placed it on 9/12 with AT&T but cancelled and placed it on 9/13 with Apple.

Alright UPS99 should be landing in Anchorage in about 20 minutes. I am hoping that those phones will immediately be loaded onto UPS109 to Lousiville.

We will just have to watch for scans.

Do all the phones go from ZhengZhou to Incheon to Anchorage to Louisville? Then from Louisville they are distributed out to the major hubs?

There are flights direct from ZhengZhou to Anchorage, so I'm trying to understand the relatively quick trip to Incheon before heading to Anchorage.

Same here I have had it on my screen 2nd monitor here at work since it left Osaka

It just depends. Some have gone from ZZ to Japan instead of Incheon. There does not appear to be rhyme or reason to UPS's logistics here. But in theory yes, they all go to Anchorage and from there to Louisville. From Louisville they then go to other sorting hubs.

There are no flight from ZhengZhou to Anchorage.

Most go through Incheon, but sometimes they go through Osaka instead.

When you ordered, were you give a time frame of delivers in 3-4 weeks with a date range like Oct. 14-21 or something like that?

Yep, that was my expected date range exactly. So I'm glad it seems to be a little early. When I preordered my 5 it came a little early too. Don't remember having to wait this long though.

yeah its just crazy. I heard theres a way to track the iPhone with the order number with UPS. I'll try it by the end of the week.

No. Why offload everything from one plane and put it on another, when the incoming plane is also departing to SDF (as UPS99) later that afternoon?

I received the 12:26AM departure scan from ICN like others here, hopefully it was indeed on UPS99 to ANC today.

Expected delivery 10/3.

Oh, you are right. I totally missed that UPS99 continues on to Louisville in 3 hours. So yeah, as long as we were on 99 out of Incheon.

I assume I'll see it on 10/3 but it is odd that the scans show the phone going back and forth. 9/26 it was in China. 9/30 it arrived in Korea. One minute later it was in China. 12 minutes after that, back in Korea.
One thing I refuse to do is track a flight. It'll get here when it gets here. As long as it doesn't breach the supposed "arrive by" date of 10/6-10/9, I'll be totally chill.
